Arrived extra extra early to make sure such hours and hours of delays didn’t fuck me up.

Never gone from entering the airport to clearing security to waiting in the departure lounge so quickly in my life. Literally took about 6 minutes.

Now I’m sat in a largely closed departure lounge for hours.

Same thing happened to me at heathrow this summer

Did you miss the part where I have a PS5? Why would I ever want to go outside again?

Anyway, I signed up for Playstation sales notifications. I already have a PSN account. They put you on a random mailing list. Periodically, they send a special invitation to purchase the PS5 directly. It took about a month from the time I first signed up to when I got my invitation, but that will vary.

Sometimes my dad being casually judgemental, even though he doesn't mean anything by it, really gets on my nerves.

He came over the flat today to help me tackle replacing my old curtains with new ones because trying to do that solo was proving slightly too awkward for me to deal with. And the moment he's in my room, because the bookcase is next to the window, he starts looking over the shelves on it and goes "god you do and half read some stupid shit."

What books do you have on your shelves? I’m curious to see whether or not he’s right.

What a turd. Even if you read some complete garbage, he’s in your house and the polite thing is not to whine about what you like.

A broad summary: mostly classical histories or classics in general on the top shelf, Russian history and a bit of German history on the 2nd shelf, British history and British political history on the 3rd shelf, and fiction on the bottom shelf.

You think that's rough, you want to try getting your hands on a graphics card at msrp.

My old NVidia 970 has been a workhorse for the last few years, but it's showing it's age. But if I see any decent, uptodate offerings in stock anywhere, they are often at twice the msrp price and I just refuse to pay so far over the odds for a luxury item.

People; my abnormal, almost chronic fatigue; and just being alive in general. So, pretty much, the same stuff as always puts a frown upon my face.

Until I developed chronic digestive issues, I never realized how many social events revolve around eating. My guts are on fire again, for no apparent reason, and I don't even want to eat. I have a new manager who wants to go out to lunch with the team, and the mere thought of it makes me want to throw up. Social anxiety was bad enough. Now I have to deal with this B.S.

Is it a diagnosed issue or is it just a random development?

Either way, digestive problems are such a kicker to one's lifestyle. I don't think we appreciate how important a well functioning digestive system is, until it goes wrong. It impacts so much.

tell me about it! try going most anywhere and not being able to do mammal, dairy, wheat, or peanuts. Eating outside the home is pretty precarious at best.

The freaking grocery store......I should say shopping, since I work for the same company, but a different store. It got me so pissed that I blew up at the old man, who jokingly asked with a smile "Who pissed in your Wheaties?" There are times when I hate him for reading me like a public restroom stall wall.

I don't have a specific diagnosis. It has become worse over the past few years. I seem to react to everything. It is probably a combination of bad genetics and damage caused by the harsh drugs I have had to take to treat all of my other problems.

NOTE: This is not an advertisement.

Have you ever heard of B&H Photo?

I don't know what you're looking for, but when they're out of stock on something like 'ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming V2 OC Graphics Card' you get be put on a Notification List... They'll tell you when it's back and keep reminding you. They also have a Financial Card & a Tax Back, which I believe is for store credit. B&H will match prices. The BEST Company to buy a lot of things from! I swear, when running into a random B&H Customer, you can bullshit about B&H and how they have everything that other companies are missing, such as knowledgeable customer service & more.

No joke, talking to apple advisor, they were somehow mentioned in conversation... forget about apple support, we ended up bullshitting about B&H for a while.

If something not available at B&H, then I'll look on Amazon.
