Yes.

I'm not going goth but the interpretation of black nail polish as goth is a part of why I decided it didn't suit me.

I really wish the Chinese agent in Parliament, was worthy of as much press coverage, as Boris Johnsons covid parties.

I feel like I've fallen through a wormhole into an alternate reality, in which everyone's priorities have gone skew width.

The Tories and by extension Boris, never wanted a lockdown to begun with. They buckled to pressure from the rest of the country, who turn in shock and surprise when it's revealed Bojo wasn't entirely committed to the idea... -___-

What a surprise. Not.

But that a spy working for a hostile foreign nation is plying the halls of power, throwing around money for favours, is treated as a side show to the above... is galling.

f'ing G**gle. They now expect me to pay $7/mo for a bunch of crap I'm not interested in and don't use. Now I've got the pain in the ass of migrating a website off their crappy webhosting system. POS. I always found it such a pain in the arse, but in the past I was able to make it work. Looks like I'll have to spend a day migrating the pages and trying to unhook things so I can keep the domain simple and cheap.

Has an internet provider of services ever failed to piss me off?!?

I saw the University of British Columbia video a student made with her phone of a cafeteria worker taking a large black rat off of the counter with tongs, dropping it on the floor and continue working.

Nope. (Leaves)

Due to all the snow and bizarre aversion to clearing up the sidewalks, using public transportation isn’t much fun and not really as safe as it could be. :pfft:

I would have thought it would be more of a requirement in Canada. Even here, code requires landowners to clear their sidewalks - problem is, no one actually enforces the code in a meaningful way and the city has adopted "wait for complaint" before addressing anything - from snow on sidewalks to trees about to fall on another's home.

Not the decisions I'd make.

We get the roads gritted. In cities we get the pavement done too, for main thoroughfares. But outside the cities, it's real hit and miss.

I recall the last place I lived, it was a cul de sac, the main road behind ours would be well gritted and clear of snow, while the street I lived on, would see it's snow compacted into solid ice, which would linger for days more. Cars and pedestrians alike would slide by, cars kept from drifting too far, by frozen ice ruts, the pedestrians would just cling to people's garden fences.

I miss snow.

I'm switching gears from gaining weigh to losing it. I find it immensely traumatic.

I was looking at my blobby midsection in the mirror, and for the first time I thought it was gross instead of funny.

I'm aiming to lose about 10 pounds. Then I can start gaining again.

Wait, you found it funny before? :D

Well, I hope you stop seeing yourself as gross and that you can lose the 10 pounds.

Just, you know. Don't become bulimic.

It’s mostly been behind your back, of which I’m sure there is plenty of acreage.
