Parrots In Heat could be a good band name. I might have to copyright that.

People. People put a frown on my face today, and they put a frown on my face every day.

When I never bothered having friends or getting to know people, I had an idealistic view of other people, of how good they could be. And for some people that view is true.

But for others, well they cause me more stress and upset than I ever imagined.

I've met some very special people on here, but I may need a break from this forum which may turn permanent.

It was good while it lasted.

Shutting yourself away from other people really isn't the solution. We very much enjoy your company here in this forum, so please don't leave.

People suck. There's no way around that. People are also amazing and inspirational. We can't be open to joy and love without being open to disappointment and pain at the same time. We just need to learn how to withstand the hard feelings and focus on the good stuff as much as possible.

Ok, enough with the sappy pep talk. I like your contribution to the forum, Zoop. It won't be the same without you (if you decide to go).

Just give them names, then they can be pets!

I've caught 5 rats and a mouse in the crawl space under my house in the past month. If they get into my house, I'll move on to dynamite or napalm.

Eat an apple down to the core. Take a dab of peanut butter and use it to attach the apple to an good old fashion trap. Set trap and place is a small brown paper bag. Works for rats, mice and squirrels. Dispose of paper bag when you caught your quarry. Problem solved with little fuss.

I myself pushed people out of my life while going though the divorce. I can tell you that only makes things worse. Isn't that sort of the same as what you say you want to do?

Reading an email again saying I'll be working 7 days a week with 2 weeks of 12 hour days until next year.

I took a hundred or so papers and threw them in the air in front of a couple people who just casually walked away. Called a guy who looks like a young Charles Manson "Charlie". Not sure if he got the reference.

Hopefully I won't be working there much longer. It's turning me into something I don't want to be.

 hang in there Jay. That’s awful. You have every right to feel how you feel.

It’s no way to live. That many 12 hour days will tax you to no end. Always here for you my friend :)

Don’t leave. Folks sometimes have demons and issues that manifest and spill out. Taking others down with them.
Folks need time and they mean well most of the time. It doesn’t make it right though.

We are all damaged goods as a friend of mine once said. It’s part of the human condition.
We all come together in great despair and are here for you. Please stay.

Reading this really breaks my heart, you have been nothing but amazing on this forum Bradley. Everyday for the last two months we would talk about something, even if it was really nothing... You would always check in on me and see how I was doing that day. It was something I looked forward to seeing every morning, when I woke up. Ive enjoyed each and every conversation I've had with you.

It hurts to know that a person has you feeling this way because you don't deserve it. You are too nice and caring for someone to ever treat you in a way that isn't nice or caring back.

I really hope you comeback because I will miss you very dearly, and I will always have you in my mind and heart.

Sorry everyone

Pushing people away isn't the answer. There's too many nice people on here for me to leave :P

Thank you for all your responses, I'm sorry I didn't mean to take over the thread like that.

I won't be so dramatic any more, I promise

I'm sure I speak for everyone here, you have nothing to be sorry for

We've all had impulsive moments in life, some of us have had them for less good reason :P

Its understandable to be left reeling, when your feeling vulnerable and hurt. It's how you recover and what you resolve to do, once you've had a chance to think.

I think you've made a good choice and the well wishes and kindness you've received are well deserved.

You also shouldn't bottle up how you feel for the sake of keeping the peace. I can't speak for everyone, but you being 'dramatic' really doesn't bother me, and if I can help you out with whatever's wrong I'll do my best.

Thank you

Maybe I shouldn't bottle them up but maybe I should express them better

It's nice talking with you as well on here, and that's really nice of you to offer

I'm happy I came back :)

The system of reporting posts on this site.
