Timothée Chalamet didn’t win best supporting actor. :(

Had a full-blown anxiety/panic attack at work tonight, leading me to spend the entire bus journey and walk home crying like a pathetic little bitch, no doubt attracting the disgust of a bus driver, several passengers, and whoever I walked past.

I'm sorry

It's a bit shit of them to feel disgusted by someone who's upset.

"Ew, emotions!"

It isn't pathetic to breakdown from generalised anxiety disorder or panic disorder. These conditions will emotionally wear you out, and it takes huge amounts of mental strength to fight back each day. If you want to talk about it, I'm available to listen.

That sucks! Not only for the nail pain, but because you'll probably have to get a tetanus shot now. :(

Be sure to clean it out well. Antiseptic spray or so. You don't want to get an infection.

Had an incident when I was a teen once, involving a hay fork. In at the sole, out on the top of the foot. Even didn't hurt, nor bleed a lot. I was like "Oh? ... shit happens" :)

Well despite his fame he's going to have a hard time getting that if he keeps being socially awkward. Let's not forget what happened to David Archuelta. (Of course, David was a Mormon and that contributed to most of his downfall.)

Thanks, I cleaned it out well with antiseptic spray, but still had to get a tetanus shot.

The frown has more persisted from yesterday, but a cut on my foot got infected, so I ended up at the hospital. And I broke my glasses.
So now I'm working from home for two or three days to rest my foot, falling foul of very much procrastination. And I just dropped £340 on new glasses that I definitely could've done without spending.

£340‽ My most recent glasses cost like £13 including shipping (was able to input both René’s and my prescriptions on a two for £26 offer). Not that happy with them, but they get the job done for wearing around the house. I could have splurged and gone for £50 ones that looked really nice, but I wanted comfortable cheap ones as I have a stylish older pair to wear out. Would never even consider spending more than £100 on glasses ever again.

Hope your foot has a quick recovery.

I'm probably just a fair bit blinder than you, more than half of that costs is having the thinnest lenses on the market to avoid me walking around with milk bottle tops on my face. I'll admit, I do tend to prefer the more expensive frames, but I wear them full time these days, so I don't mind investing a little more in them. It's the lenses that kill me.

I'm sure I'll be up and about in no time though, I'm on some punchy antibiotics and "the doctor says I shouldn't wear shoes" was a quite amusing thing to tell HR at work.
