How long did you leave it presumably just sitting on the counter?

I've let hamburger meat sit out for 12 hours to defrost--no problem. Usually it's just 3 hours but meat should be room temp when grilled.

Oh no, it was in the fridge the whole time. It ended up going bad due to us deciding to eat something different each night. By the time we got to it it was too late.

I leave my meat in the freezer until just before it's needed to be cooked. Depending upon exactly the meat and the cut I quickly thaw using water or brute force it with the microwave (they've been around for years. LoL). Yeah every time I do otherwise chances are the meat spoils before I eventuality get to it.

The deep freeze was where it was originally. I took it out and thawed it in the fridge with the intent to cook it next day. However, each night I decided on something different until it was too late. By night three it was too funky.

I forgot my password to this site today and was almost certain that I would probably need a new account.

Was a number of things, wrong gears, too fast at points, bad at observations and got instructions wrong at a roundabout and ended up cutting into lane too soon. Was a mess, just went from bad to worse and it really showed.

My best friend’s dad passed away a few hours ago. I knew him since I was 8.

Re: What put a frown on your face today?
I got called into work on my seventh day because another houseman unexpectedly quit. This effectively ruins my whole ‘weekend’ because tomorrow I have to do a lot of errands and won’t get a whole lot of downtime.
EDIT: Work was just as awful as being called into it.

Today, my bus pass magically vanished when I needed it to go to the doctor. I still got there but I don’t understand how it’s missing as it’s always with my debit card and the debit card was exactly where it would be.

Welp, I'm losing another counselor. As for how long I get another one depends if I am going to a group home or not. Not quite sure why that is. Tomorrow after my pdoc appointment I'll have a more detailed conversation about what's going on.

Hate to post another thing in one day with a double post... but my stepdad lost his job because they're closing down the factory he works at. I barely get anything but I'm willing to help out more with money. Not quite sure what my parents want to do.

The fucking weather app on iOS gets worse and worse, I legit don’t know why I haven’t bothered to switch to a third-party. This morning, phone says it’s going to be 14-16 degrees and so I decided to wear a sweater. Now it’s 19 degrees and due to rise to 22 and I’m a sweaty bitch.

Re: What put a frown on your face today?
my uncle died a couple days ago due to complications from a lung surgery (didn't smoke but had this weird rare tumor in his lungs). He was fine for 30 days after the surgery then one day was short of breath and his good lung and diaphragm stopped working.
There's a chance rehab could have worked but he said no to it and was taken off the ventilator...died in 30 mins. Sad to know it happened like that. It was also on his birthday. It was also my dad's twin so it was my dad's birthday too.
