I am sorry to hear that. It’s tough seeing a love one struggle and pass away from such illness. My stepdad has cancer but he’s in remission and doing pretty good. Not many are as lucky as my stepdad. My condolences. He’s no longer in pain.

Thanks and it was seeing him struggle and pass away, but me and my mom will get through it with time got to remember the good times I had with him. Good to hear you your stepdad is in remission and doing good. I'm sad to see my dad go ad I was very close to him, but I know he isn't in pain anymore and is in a better place.

I talked to a nurse from when I was in the hospital about death. My fear of losing my love ones to death or losing myself to death. I can’t remember all what she said but she basically said. We are only here for a certain amount of time along with love ones. Our bodies deteriorate as we get older and as our bodies deteriorate we are relieved of pain after death. To have a sick love one stay is selfish in a way because they’re suffering and death is a relief from pain no matter your views on religion. Hope this isn’t just rambling to you. I’m still trying to not fear death because I’m surrounded by it.

As I walk to the shadow of the valley of death. I fear no evil.

I'm glad you have good memories. That means a lot. I lost my dad suddenly when I was your age, and recently lost my mom after watching her slowly fade over years (in her 90's). Both were hard in different ways. It's so good you and your mom are there for each other.

Feeling back to a good 7 out of 10 today, I decided to break my isolation and go for a walk. Ended up being a 15km walk, which was nice, the sun was out. But I took a baseline of my fitness at various points whilst I was out and fucking coronavirus has knocked 15% off of my VO2 max. That's gonna take me fucking ages to make back.

In other news, RuPaul allegedly leasing mineral rights on his land for hydraulic fracking?!

https://www.out.com/celebs/2020/3/16/ru ... acre-ranch

Ooh, he getting dragged mad on Twitter.

But then again, who hasn't? I too have faced the wrath of the Twitter sphere, and also lease out my spare bedroom for fracking. Makes my records skip terribly, but the money's good.

I wish I could sell rights to hydraulic fracking. I’d jump at that so fast. If I ever own land, I’m just gonna put a sign up that’s visible from the road with an email address and the invite “Like digging? Keep what you find! Reasonable rates! Enquire today!”

You can come, Magic. But you’ll have to leave your bull whip at the visitors desk and collect it on your way out.

Dr. Jones is a sub-par archaeologist at best. I saw him dig exactly once in the four films (Raiders, if I remember correctly), and in such an uncontrolled manner! Disgraceful. And don't get me started on the whole Ark of the Covenant situation. Publish your papers for systematic peer review, Dr. Jones! :argh:

Also, the ethics board would like a word...

It's the quality of the contextual data that counts!

Which is to say, I've found nothing of note. :pfft:

That in mind, you may find it beneficial to ask yourself what Dr. Jones is doing that you aren’t?

Have you given any thought to adopting the name of a childhood pet? When was the last time you practiced with your bullwhip? Do you even own a fedora?

It's not my fault. They insisted that I wear a hard hat.

Did they insist you couldn’t wear a fedora underneath it?

In fact! Fuck the hard hat altogether!

They told Tony Robinson he had to wear a hard hat, he didn’t even tell them to fuck off. He just put glitter on his face and turned up to work pissed. Tony knows that there isn’t exactly a queue of people getting into Archaeology. He knows he’s untouchable. He demonstrated it.

I don’t know how passionate archaeology circles are, but that might well be the strongest opinion ever expressed on Phil Harding.
