Pasta with courgette, chillies and garlic in a butter sauce, followed by hopefully successful profiteroles filled with chantilly and coated in white and dark chocolate.

I hate my family. My mom doesn't eat gluten or dairy, one of my cousins is a vegan, the other only eats fast food, and my aunt is now "paleo". The only ones who actually eat are me and my grandmother. How am I supposed to cook Thanksgiving for that? And the other side of my family is fixated on their white trash traditions, like "stuffing" that comes in a box and "cranberry sauce" that comes gelled in a tin. They're terrible foods even when they aren't fake.

Because it's trendy to feign a wheat intolerance or because she's genuinely allergic?

Is it that they're white trash or just that you're too much of a faggot? I've read the foods you make and I'd wager that most people on here wouldn't recognize half of them.

She says she feels a lot better when she doesn't eat it, but who knows? My dad also stopped eating gluten after his TIA and he says the same thing.

There is nothing faggy about my signature butter-dipped brioche clover rolls crusted with fleur de sel.

I can confirm that I have no fucking idea what he's making most of the time.

I've made Waffles for the first time today. Interesting stuff. They taste pretty nice. But it's impossible to eat a lot of them.

I've stopped accommodating (non-allergy) dietary restrictions a while ago - don't like what I cook? Bring your own food! It's a bit of a dick move to expect other people to cook with your preferences in mind when making food for a group.

I only cook to please my audience. I don't even like eating. I miss the old days when the nuttiest thing people were was vegetarians.

Do you wear a designer apron when cooking and baking by any chance?

You know what, you should take pics of the stud you make and post it on the forum!

There is something about pulling out my phone to snap images of food before it's served that just doesn't quite fit my self-image.

Is that a genuine offer? What if I actually turned up at your door?

I'm trying to make ‎Okonomiyaki, which is like a savoury Japanese cabbage pancake, for dinner at the moment. I hope it turns out good! :)  ‎

Edit:- My first attempt, it looked and tasted good!

That looks really good, I always struggle making cakes look so neatly decorated.

Thanks Joe! I have had many attempts in the past trying to make my cakes/food look decent. Here's how it looked like inside, I'm quite happy with how it turned out. :)
