No worries. Thank you for reading my original post, but I have to admit, it might be a little tough to follow.....lol.
Here's an example of the Universe trying to tell you that you need healing in an area of your life:

Someone who struggles with showing emotion. This person, in their lifetime, will constantly struggle with this, and that is because, they choose to ignore or disregard the fact that they have trouble showing emotion. Most people will ignore this issue, and will continue to fracture themselves. And this goes with pretty much any problem that happens in your life that is recurring. Don't pass up an opportunity to make you "whole" again.

Can we possibly live in a world where your every post doesn’t include a four paragraph ramble about the meaning of life?

Did I shit on your front porch or something? Lol. Did I murder your cat? Do I know you personally? If a frog carried a gun in its pocket would it be afraid of snakes?

I was told from my psychiatrist "Lemme put it to you this way. While most people think in sentences, you think in paragraphs."

That’s actually a quite nice way of putting. Yes. You did shit on my front porch. This forum is the porch of the community. When you fill it with rambling missives, seemingly on the assumption that any of us needed your guidance on how to live our lives, it is very much the corresponding version of shitting on our porch. I appreciate your meeting us in compromise.

And frogs don’t have pockets.

No one's putting a gun to your head forcing you to read anything. That's all on you.

And the frogs don't have pockets thing was a joke............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

No. See. That’s where you’re wrong. When you put something into your signature, I can’t avoid it. It’s everywhere. It’s in the middle any and every conversation I might want to read. You’ll note that the rest of us haven’t gone to the trouble of putting paragraphs into our signatures, the most you’ll find is a line or an image, because we recognise the nature of the platform we are participating in and the social etiquette that exists therein.

You are coming into our community. You’re seeking to integrate. Perhaps make more of a conscious effort to do so, and adhere to the established order. We won’t be having a meeting where we decide to collectively shift to accommodate you.

Rene is the bomb! Bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb ba-bomb. I know...you can't say "bomb on an airplane"! That, of course, was a reference to the movie, "Meet The Parents". A funny movie, no doubt. :)

Anyway, I decided to reply to your introduction and agree with many things that you have said here, James.

A relationship course is something I also bought but haven't gotten to yet! I feel there are few people with your relationship ethics. Most people are physically oriented.

This may sound crazy, but I just encouraged a schizo-affective person on a different forum (i.e. this one was for Mental Health). She basically gave me a big hug! She just wants someone to understand her. She's had a rough past. And she knows I understand! That's the kind of encouragement I love giving. Even if it's just an acknowledgment of who she is. In fact, I told her "You are who you are. And I agree with what she said". She said in her response I deserved all the hugs! In essence, I think others think she's crazy. Deep down, she's just someone who has been broken. I have lots of compassion for her!

P.S. I've got a dog that wags his tail at me and wants me to constantly pet him. He doesn't get as excited as he does with the owner (i.e. my mother). It seems all animals love me! Perhaps it's because I give them the attention they need.

You can really learn a lot from people with mental disorders. They just want to be treated like everyone else, that's all. We all have our problems, some have physical, while others have mental problems. And we literally live on the same planet, so we may as well get along with eachother!

I have schizophrenia.. I have my good days and my bad days. I quit college, quit my job and I've been on disability since 2012. I wouldn't call myself high functioning but I'm not as bad as other who share he same Dx. Been in and out psych hospital... met some good, some bad, some interesting people in the ward. I can say this. I've learned a lot by the people I've met in the psych hospital therapist and patients. I can say this... I think those who suffer from mental illness see the world differently than say those who don't. Good and bad way. Schizophrenia is a scary dx for some... especially those who don't know what it is. you said you have schizoaffective... schizoaffective is schizophrenia and a mood disorder so I think you can understand with having schizoaffective... You're not alone.

Well, and learning to love yourself because you are Schizophrenic is hard. I am high functioning, but just because I am high functioning doesn't mean it's any different from you. It just means that I was one of the lucky few who can hold down a job, have a normal conversation, etc... And really, what's normal? I mean, when it comes down to it, we all have something. And you have to remember it's all about perception too. I may have Schizophrenia, but I have many people who love me. And THAT I am eternally grateful!
