Gay - Semi-Closeted - 30s

Unread postby OdinsHat » 17 November 2021, 15:37

I've posted a more detailed thread here: general-discussions/coming-out-old-late-30-s-and-fat-as-a-gay-man-t20129/

That goes into detail about my current issues. I don't know why or what you'd want to know about me?

I'm late 30's, unattractive, unfit, miserable, semi-out.

Ask me something if you want to know.

Do you believe that advertising your shortcomings is likely to get you the attention you desire?

I think the answer is an obvious one, so my real question is this, given that few people are actively looking for someone with rock bottom self esteem, terrible self image and a lack of self worth, what is the first thing you intend to do, to effect positive change in yourself, that you might address one of those issues?

Perhaps, you could try to get into shape? Maybe then you will feel less miserable? Being less miserable, you might be more confident to go out and socialise with other gay people. You might even meet one you would like to live with. Who might inspire you to fully commit to coming out. Which could help you feel like you are living the life you want to be living and might go that much further towards feeling less miserable.

You're statement: I'm miserable. My question: What are you going to do about it?
