Introducing Myself

Unread postby Aaron_Rose » 30 August 2019, 05:10

Hello there! I am called Aaron and I am a gay trans male. I was born female (and still have the significant female features) but I was also born into a Christian family. I did not know what the LGBTQ+ community was until I was around 14. I then started questioning myself. I thought this, that, and the other about so many different things, regarding to who I'm attracted to and what I am. I struggled some days, and other days I was just fine. I am at a point right now where I can be confident in who I am, even though I'm still in the closet with telling my parents.

In any case, since I won't be able to afford to fully transition into a male (sorry if it sounds untactful, I am still pretty new at this kind of thing), I will be, you know, wearing more guy things and stuff like that. I'm very horrible at explaining properly without making people mad.

Okay, enough about my life stuff, here's some basic things to know about me:

    My favorite color is Lavender
I love watching the tv show Bones and Grey's Anatomy
I absolutely loved watching Detective Pikachu
    I am a nerd
I have Magic the Gathering cards
Being a vegetarian isn't an option for me because I love meat too much (yay you if you are vegetarian! <3)
I'm nearly an adult!!! (17 to be exact!)
I want Animation to be my career
Video Games are everything to me
Sports and I don't mix well at all

I give my love out to each and every one of you! All of you are amazing and I hope you have an amazing, healthy, fulfilling life!

Hey Aaron. Welcome to GFO.

I love the art work on the magic the gathering card's. I haven't played the game in years. Glad to see some people still enjoy it.

I must still have a box of those back in my old bedroom at my mom's house! I don't remember much of the game other than that I used a lot of the black cards.

I stopped playing it much when the cousins who introduced me to it adopted their mother's religion, becoming evangelical Christians and burning the cards because they were manifestations of evil. :oface:

(One of them also denounced my homosexuality at the time but later came out as bi and is now, ironically, living with his very own Michigan-born boyfriend. :P)

I have a deck of mostly white border Magic cards (I was told these are the older cards) and I actually found some rare ones`! Oh yes, Christians. I'm Athiest myself but I do respect other people's religion. Anywho, my uncle actually has a TON of Magic cards and I was able to play the game twice! It was a lot of fun and I even bought my own pack of cards!
