New Member Today.

Unread postby MJM » 20 October 2020, 21:32

Hi everybody. I just joined your little group today. I'm not really the most computer savvy person around and couldn't figure out how to do the new member questionnaire so I'll post here and we can figure it out as we go. I'm almost 65 years old and have been retired from the rat race for one year now. I love not working, I seem to have been born to be unashamedly lazy. My last job was not what you would call glamorous or upwardly mobile and I'm glad to be done with it. I live in Montana in the United States. Winter visited us with a vengeance last Sunday and it looks to be a long winter. Oh well, no matter, I have hobbies to keep me busy and my sloth makes no demands of energy which can best be preserved for further laziness.
I know you are but what am I ?

Welcome! And good for you for not being ashamed of being lazy! You need to go out and tell others that are lazy but hate it to love themselves because they're lazy.
Here's an example of the Universe trying to tell you that you need healing in an area of your life:

Someone who struggles with showing emotion. This person, in their lifetime, will constantly struggle with this, and that is because, they choose to ignore or disregard the fact that they have trouble showing emotion. Most people will ignore this issue, and will continue to fracture themselves. And this goes with pretty much any problem that happens in your life that is recurring. Don't pass up an opportunity to make you "whole" again.

Wow ! I really am lazy. And forgetful. I completely forgot that I signed up to this Forum. Got an e-mail today about a reply to this and that jogged my memory. So, I think I'll do what I can to stir up a few hornets nests with my lunatic ravings and leftist politics. Please ! Don't anyone take me seriously or be offended. I do not hate anyone and I really don't want to offend anyone but sometimes I get a little carried away. I've been called a troll on Fakebook but that's just me poking the bear, so to speak. There is no one so fun to play with than the super serious self absorbed ones among us. Tallyho !

I can't speak for everyone when I say this, so I'll speak for myself. If you have a beef with me, I get it. I understand that there are some people who just don't like me, for whatever reason. But if you have a beef with me, I am more than happy to have a healthy argument as to why that is.

What I can't and WON'T stand is outright nonsense. I'm a decent human being, if I have said something to piss you off or make you mad, and you bring that up to me in a firm but substantial way and it was something I truly did, I will most definitely apologize and will make it a point that I am truly sorry. But, if all you're going to do is cuss and resort to name-calling, we've went from having an opportunity to work this out in decency to being verbally abusive.

I am willing to give anyone one chance to be stupid. Meaning, I can take a hit or two when I am cussed at or argued with. But, if you continue to show me that you're an unreasonable human being, then I don't have time for you nor will I waste my breath on you. So far I have only blocked one person on this forum, and have reported that same person, and it is because this person is unreasonable. I'm honest but I'm also reasonable. Progress can't be made if all you're going to do is cuss and resort to name-calling. If anything we can agree to disagree at best.

But regardless, you should be fine.
