Newbie Here!

Unread postby Michael92 » 23 February 2019, 18:33

Hello, I'm Michael!

I've been checking out these forums for the past few weeks and decided to (finally) create an account. I am not the best at introductions... especially talking about myself...but I will give it a shot. :)

I am from Southern California and work in education and design (graphics, illustration, and theatre). Besides art and theatre being my biggest passions, I also enjoy film making and photography. I am a proud Disney and theme park enthusiast, a love that has followed me since I was a kid. My friends know me as a genuine Disney and Theatre Nerd. :3

My other interests include cooking, being a foodie, surfing or rock climbing, bad horror movies, animals, traveling, and learning about different cultures. Oh, and I play the guitar!

Feel free to message me if you like. I enjoy meeting new people and discussing common interests.

Hi Michael
Welcome to the forum, like you I'm also interested in cooking, animals and Disney
How did you get into rock climbing, do you do it indoors or out on real rocks, what's your favourite Disney film and how did you learn to play the guitar ?
Sorry if that's a lot of questions, you seem pretty cool and look cute by your profile picture

Thank you! I got into rock climbing when a friend introduced it to me. I started with indoor rock climbing and eventually "graduated" to (real) outdoor rock climbing. My favorite Disney film is The Little Mermaid... the music is the best! My dad taught me to play guitar. He's a musician/performer.

Welcome :)

You had my attention at bad horror movies.
When me and my brother were younger we'd go to Walmart and have a contest to see who could pick out the work horror movie from the clearance bins :D

Welcome!

I haven't been to Disneyland in a bit. I should talk my BF friend into it and go this summer. Disneyland on a nice summer night...so nice. Disney world, not so much with the humidity.

Welcome! I’m a bit envious, I used to love going to Disneyland and Knottsberry Farm every few months. We have the same favorite Disney movie, although probably for different reasons (I love how Ursula is, sort of, one of the best role models in that movie and also the villain).

I'm currently a Disneyland AP but don't plan to renew when it expires. The insane crowds come June when Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens won't be worth it to me. I'll gladly wait a year or two until the crowds have died down.

I agree Ursula is the BEST Disney villain... and probably my favorite Disney character. :)
