The growing trend of straight men offering sexual favours for cash.

Unread postby Benjquid » 5 June 2021, 23:08

Hello to everyone here, thank you for your time.

My name is Benjamin quid and I'm a freelance journalist of five years now.

Recently I have noticed a growing trend/kink/fetish/taboo amongst the gay men I know (or know of through friends) focused on the "straight for gay" category.
After discussing the topic with a few friends, my eyes were opened to the lesser known or talked about side of the sex industry. The side that would see some heterosexual cis males, selling sexual services as a "straight male" for gay men.
From the stories heard so far, the scope of services required is far and wide but oral sex (giving) featured most commonly. There were a few exchanges for penetrative sex and one instance of a guy selling his anal virginty to the highest bidder.

I thought I'd head here to try and get a wider picture. Any and all inputs welcome.

Thanks B

I haven't heard of it, but with the world going the way of Venezuela i'd accept that people will resort to prostitution to make ends meet and women would be very unlikely to pay for it.

This isn't new. More than half of all gay porn stars identify as heterosexual and have sex with men for the money.

They get paid more to sleep with guys, than with women and the straight ones get paid more for the same scenes than the gay ones. I guess the idea is they need the extra incentive and the gay guys are already enjoying it? (I have no idea how, I kinda need to know my sexual partners is into me.. not just literally but in a gay way  )

With the advent of things like onlyfans and the Internet in general. Many straight men, young and old, have figured they can make a considerable amount of money, having varying degrees of sex with other men.

This would seem to suggest that some straight men, care more about money than they care about their perceived sexuality. Which I want to say is a good thing, I mean, we want people to not pay different sexuality and societies perception of it, much mind, but at the same time, it feels exploitative.

It's an odd one to be sure.
