There's no way in which this isn't a masterpiece.

I remember downloading it, but ending up not liking the album. Maybe I should listen to it again.

I've been living my life to the Oblivion soundtrack for the last 24 hours or so, just playing on a loop. I'm not sure why I like it so much all of a sudden. I think it's just lined up perfectly with my mood. Gonna make a bold call and say that I think I prefer M83's effort on this soundtrack to Daft Punk's for Tron.

This was a pretty awesome film, so I'm gonna have to find this soundtrack and give it some decent headway. Thanks for reminding me of it! :D
Don't think about doing it tomorrow. You won't do it tomorrow. Do it today.

New ALI PROJECT. They've done it again. I can't believe that, after 30 years and almost as many albums, they still bring something new to the table every time. And they still have tacky album covers that make them look like some indies gothic group because their vocalist likes to play dress-up that hides her 50 years.

And I was just fanboying out over their 2013 album a few days ago and haven't even heard their instrumental album from earlier this summer. Fast release patterns.

This thread has been dead for too long. I love checking out all the albums people post here. Finding great music that way occasionally.

Both heavier and grander than their last few albums. I'm enjoying it. So far. (Only a few songs in atm) Nothing has quite blown me away yet, but I have a feeling the 24 minute final song might do the job.

Image
I've given the album many, many listens now. I've heard the demos, the early leak and the final super deluxe version. And I absolutely think it's her best. Iconic is one of her best songs.
Features writing and production from Natalia Kills, Kanye West, Diplo, Avicii, and a bunch of less recognizable names that nevertheless had their hands in just about every recent pop hit in America and Europe as well as guest verses by Nas, Nicki Minaj and Chance the Rapper. Pretty much a who's who of Pop and Hip-hop at the moment. And they did great things with her legacy and a ton of call-backs. A lot of unexpected humour in the album, too, she isn't taking herself too seriously.

Image
It's like Björk went "hey, Hyperballad was a great track...let's make a whole album that sounds like it! But slower...and without the tension or payoffs!"
Being Björk, it's still fantastic though.

Image
Hanae took me completely by surprise with her innocent vocals, slick production and surprising versatility. I'm loving a few tracks though. Great on a workout playlist, too.

The popular TV show Empire have some nice songs. If you have Spotify you can listen to the whole thing.

Right now I don't have any time for things that aren't:

Kendrick Lamar: To Pimp a Butterfly

Death Grips: Jenny Death

This is only the second time since becoming a fan around 2008 that she released an album absolutely worthy of being my album of the year. Let's see if anything else in 2015 will impress me like this.

Is it really that amazing? I could never get into his debut. I must have listened to it 4 or 5 times, but it was always just...good for me. And I still need to hear that Death Grips x Björk thing from a while ago...

Its iiinteresting. I haven't really found a stand out track everything's just solidly good. Still that's never been a reason not to listen to an album. But I suspect it won't be one that stays on my ipod.

I finally got around to listening to Mumford & Sons new album Wilder Mind

I really like it, it's familiar yet a really different sound. They've ditched the banjos and but retained the great driving drums and building anthemic tracks.
