You can put them in storage in your house.
I'm jelly. I still haven't gotten to tarantula island.
I finally got the tarantula island last night. Made 280k. Wohoo

I've added you!
We should visit each other's islands sometime soon.

I have cherries, pansies, tulips, and wildflowers native to my island.

Re: Animal Crossing
I feel like I did myself a disservice by not adequately planning my island before starting to build shit so now I hate the look of it as it's all hodge-podge and crappy and I don't know if I want to go through the effort of paying to rebuild the crap bridges I have and rearrange it all or just start a new one and plan it better this time.

My island is the same way. I didn't plan very well and now it's going to take a lot of bells and time to fix it.

Re: Animal Crossing
I dont think you need to restart. Terraforming does so much! Also remember this game is supposed to be played long term. Over months and years. There are loads of people rushing and getting amazing islands by manipulating the game. And now they are all complaining the game is half finished because they did everything lesss than a month since its been out.
If you restart though you will know whats coming and how to plan more! So there is benefits to do it

Part of why my island is so horribly laid out and annoying is that I didn't know what access to what would become available and when so I just dumped everything anywhere I had a space for it.
Not helped by picking an island where the only accessible area of it at first was a really narrow bit of it in the bottom left corner.
I'm just gonna restart. It didn't take me long. to get to where I am now anyway and knowing what I do about how the island progresses I can put more thought into placements rather than having to pay tens of thousands of bells now to rearrange the whole lot.
Easier in the long run. Plus I might get villagers I like more.

Re: Animal Crossing
... so yeah I restarted. I knew I would as soon as I had the idea because I have no impulse control whatsoever but I'm digging my new layout way more. Really big open spaces to put buildings rather than small cramped narrow bits, peaches rather than cherries, and less annoying villagers.
The space means I can have my plan of having the shops/services grouped kind of close together and the neighbours houses set up in small little neighbourhoods in a way that just makes me unnecessarily happy.

I'll share some pictures when I've got a few more things build because it's very basic right now.
