Animal Crossing
Re: Animal Crossing
Just thinking about the effort and planning that must have taken is giving me anxiety.

Re: Animal Crossing
Thank you! A tip that I hope is helpful, I was able to talk fast because I was using the Nintendo app to type my responses. It makes communicating much easier if you can't use voice chat.

I was wondering myself how you were so amazingly fast while talking in beautiful complete sentences! This will be quite a revelation for Brenden, I'm sure.

Haha! I really want those tile patterns Brenden had to mark his trees, they're brilliant.

You can find the QR codes for them on a top-upvoted post on the Animal Crossing subreddit.
Speaking of, you really should post an album of your island to that subreddit! I think the people there would love seeing it!

Re: Animal Crossing
I'm wary of being judged by redditors though. I design slowly with a rough vision, I did very little planning. People over there would be telling me I'm not being efficient or that my layout is wrong, after having designed their island months before the game was released.

Nah, the community is super supportive and praises lots! I’ve never seen anyone being critical (without someone expressly asking for constructive criticism) — they just get downvoted into oblivion if they are.

Re: Animal Crossing
I suppose this is probably the closest to physical intimacy you can get in this game... (and in general with someone not part of the same household while this infernal lockdown continues
)

^Brenden with someone very special

(Someone who is not a redhead IRL; otherwise we might have a problem.)

I might pick up Animal Crossing again if they do a dark, gritty, realistic take, where the villagers can barely contain their animalistic natures and every day is a struggle to survive.

Re: Animal Crossing
I really need to get back to this. I made a whole new island for the purposes of giving myself a better start and then just never bothered to go back to it again because I got distracted by other stuff.
