Although mine are going for 378 bells.
But isn't 378 really good‽
Mine are currently at 193 for the rest of the day, which is the highest predicted this week by TurnipProphet.io.

Re: Animal Crossing
Aw, thanks, but I sold most of my turnips on someone else's island yesterday for 483.
But it wasn't that many so I didn't make all that much. Next week definitely going to buy more than just 500!

Re: Animal Crossing
I'll problably buy another pocketful this Sunday then queue on turnip.exchange to try to get into a good one. I've made nearly 2,000,000b once but that got mostly used up on house upgrades. I need to decorate my basement, but I'm making it into a mancave so I'll be pulling stuff out of the other rooms then making the old den into the bathroom/laundry room

Re: Animal Crossing
update; I never got around ro redecorating, but one thing led to another and I dug out an old N2 Elite and replaced all of my villagers with these guys:
I should be able to sell one or two of these villagers per week

Re: Animal Crossing
In my haste to distract from other games causing me severe anger I've diverted attention back to Animal Crossing. Because I restarted my island to give me a better layout but then proceeded to do nothing with it. So I'm aiming to fix that.
The problem I'm running into now is everywhere I look everyone has ludicrously well-designed and gorgeous islands and it's annoying me that I don't have the ability to produce any such delightful results and that my island still looks like basic bitch crap right now because I've barely put any time into it.

I just started playing two weeks ago but because of work and stuff I’ve not really been able to put much effort in. Mine just has stuff dumped everywhere, I tried to make a garden outside but if it’s all just started to spread and look a mess. My home decor leaves a lot to be desired too with a bedroom carpet that resembles the pattern used on bus chairs to disguise stains.
Want to find some cherries and peaches for my ‘orchard’ (three trees in a line) that didn’t grow for a week and a half because I’d planted them too close together.

Re: Animal Crossing
You can have the trees grow apart to maturity then transplant them very close to each other. I have a 5x5 orchard with only one space between all the trees, which I made by transplanting mature ones.

Thanks, now I’ll eventually have three mature trees I’ll give it a go!

Re: Animal Crossing
It's a royal pita picking up stuff when the trees are so close because you can't see where it is. If you do makes that that cramped I'd advise using non-dirt paths t make a ground barrier to prevent weeds and rocks and fossils from forming.
That being said here's some pictures of my island: https://mobile.twitter.com/Betonhaus1

Re: Animal Crossing
I’ve harvested from my orchard about 5 times now and it’s been perfectly easy to shake all the trees then just go through the orchard first vertically then horizontally picking up the fruit.
I thought Isabelle’s comment about trees is about total trees not having an area with a high tree density.

Re: Animal Crossing
So, I've chopped down like 40 trees but kept my tightly-packed orchard and Isabelle has stopped commenting on the overabundance of trees. Yay! Now I just have to place enough outdoor furniture to get to ★★★★★.

Re: Animal Crossing
Isabelle keeps telling me my island needs more decorations. But! there are too much items lying around. I need to clean up. I really don't know what she means.
Also would anybody be up for doing a Gay forum island tour? I wanna see some of yours islands!

There's a difference between placed items and dropped items. Like, crafting resources, DIY recipes, turnips, fruit, etc are all dropped items and count against your score, while furniture items that are placed count toward your score.

Yes! I'm pretty happy with my island now. Just trying to get up to 5 stars. Running out of ideas of what and where to place furniture.

Re: Animal Crossing
I finally got to five stars this week and plan to leave things along for now. I'll rearrange my flower beds for more hybrids but that's it.
