Bros (2021) - an upcoming gay rom-com
Billy Eichner to Star in Bros, the First Gay Rom-Com from a Major Studio: 'Only Took 100 Years' - People
I'm looking forward to this. I've wanted a solid Hallmark cookie cutter romance that swapped out the girl for another guy, I'm not sure how well this movie will turn out but I got my hopes up.
Billy Eichner is making movie history!
The actor and comedian, 42, is set to star in, co-write and executive produce the forthcoming Universal Pictures film Bros, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film, which is scheduled to hit theaters next summer on Aug. 12, will center around "two gay men with commitment issues who attempt a relationship," Variety reported. The actor who will star opposite Eichner as his love interest has not yet been announced.
Alongside Eichner, the movie's director, Nicholas Stoller, will help co-write the script, while Judd Apatow will lend his talents as a producer, alongside Stoller, 44, and Joshua Church.

I have my doubts, but, eh, it might actually be good to watch. The title is what scares me, not gonna lie. The title makes it sound like an after school special.
Here's an example of the Universe trying to tell you that you need healing in an area of your life:
Someone who struggles with showing emotion. This person, in their lifetime, will constantly struggle with this, and that is because, they choose to ignore or disregard the fact that they have trouble showing emotion. Most people will ignore this issue, and will continue to fracture themselves. And this goes with pretty much any problem that happens in your life that is recurring. Don't pass up an opportunity to make you "whole" again.

Yeah I haven't found a lot of gay shows that I was able to enyoy. A lot of them end super depressing like Brokeback Mountain, I did like The Last Straight Man, that one was fairly relaxed yet well rounded and ended on a happy note. And did a good job of portraying what it is like to have a crush on your straight friend.

Well, it wouldn't be so bad if they weren't so predictable. But, on the other hand, most movies involving gay men probably don't have much of a budget either. I'm willing to watch it, I just don't know if I'll like it.
