That's the one aspect of the episode that felt forced to me.

It kinda did, the Doctor's hints were waaaay too unsubtle for River not to get them.

But I'm willing to let that slip, because it made for some genuinely fun moments.

I finally watched this season - except the Christmas special. I am saving that one for tomorrow.

I was pretty impressed I must say. It wasn't a bad season at all. Everything felt a bit meh at first. But the last three episodes were pretty interesting. I loved the new two part format. It gives them a lot more time to properly develop the storyline. So overall a pretty good season. One of the better ones recently.

Oh interesting..

[Reveal] Spoiler:
The forthcoming series of Doctor Who will not air until 2017- and it will be the last for Steven Moffat, who will hand over duties to Broadchurch's writer Chris Chibnall after his final 12 episodes air next spring.

In the short term, a Christmas special featuring Peter Capaldi will air this year.

Damn. They gave us such a terrible season and then make us wait 2 years. Glad Moffat is leaving.

Chris Chibnall wrote '42' which is one of my absolute favourite episodes of the show.

I have hope.

Even though I love Moffat as a screenwriter and most of the better episodes were written by him, I'm excited for the show to get the new wind it seems to need at the moment.

What I loved about Moffat's tenure is that he helped the show utilize its potential and elevated it from a show that used time-travel as a mere vehicle that brings the doctor from one big bad to the other, to something with a bit more dept and more thrilling storylines. However, his 'I do whatever the fuck I want' attitude didn't always play out that well.

I loved 42 but Dinosaurs On A spaceship and The Power Of Three were less than stellar. I hope Chris manages to give his tenure a personal touch.

More detailed full trailer:

I can honestly say it looks pretty cool. I was going to watch it anyway, because Doctor Who, but now I'm totally jazzed for it.

And Greg Austin's character is the gay main character the show's writer mentioned on Twitter ages ago. So... happy about the fact I'll get to see that cutie kissing boys. Hooray for that.

Yes!
The part at 0:55 made my day  .

I does look like an interesting show at least. Maybe it will bring some life back into Doctor Who as well.

Class does look really good!

I just saw that the BBC have also released some new info for the Christmas special. The episode will be called The Return of Doctor Mysterio.

I will check out class because some of it does look good. I just hope it's not to tryhard.

Who is this Doctor Mysterio? It looks a bit ridiculous, but fun. Looking forward to the new season with Bill and the season after that with a new showrunner! We got lots of exciting stuff coming up!

The spinoff looks more interesting at this point than Doctor Who itself. I don't think I'll find myself excited for new episodes until we have a better Doctor again

While I don't want the character to suffer from overexposure, this makes me happy because she's so goddamn good.
