Maybe it's just because I can't imagine not wanting Jon's dick, but I find Danaerys' fuck-me face totally believable.

Those statements aren't inconsistent. You'd know that if the guys you liked actually had dicks.

I want that hot, yummy skank Olyvar to come back and show more of his twinky butt.

I liked Loras more than Olyvar tbh. And btw, where did Olyvar go?

So I just saw episode 6 and I have a genuine question: Is there actually any legit reason I shouldn't be actively supporting the Night King at this point?

He's got a badass army of the dead, doesn't give a single fuck about anything but murdering everything, doesn't waste years of time on petty squabbling for the sake of it, hasn't committed incest nor wants to, and now he can do what I've been wanting someone to do for 5 goddamn seasons now and finally rid Daenerys of one of her scaly deus ex machinas so she can't reduce every problem to "Imma throw a dragon at it and pretend I'm a great Queen when in fact the only reason I got this far was because by basically luck I happened to end up with some dragons."

I mean my only reason for not wanting him to win everything is because Cersei still exists but that's basically the only reason.

Probably still rotting away in a cell or killed. Cersei got what she wanted from him.

Speaking of Loras, the Iron Fist is a dumb character, but the actor is way hotter in the role. Loras was such a limp gay noodle.

Oh please, I hate it when people reduce everything Daenerys achieved to 'Oh she was just lucky' or 'It's cause she has dragons'. Usually she's the only one who actually thinks things through and makes the right decisions. Her dragons were tiny and barely doing anything for most of the series, yet so many people trash her 'cuz dragons' when the show is full of characters like Jon who continuously makes stupid decisions, but has a plot armor so thick he can even rise from the grave or Arya who's equally thick plot armor allows her to run a marathon and kill an assassin with a hole in her stomach.

Daenerys and Cersei are the two most worthwhile characters the show has left.

I didn't doubt Sansa and Arya for a moment. While everyone was getting so pissy about Arya "becoming a dangerous psycho" I was trying to reassure them that there's no way in hell Arya would be so careless and foolish. She makes mistakes, but she's not stupid. The writers were being so blatant that I'm just stunned anyone ever thought they were actually fighting each other. Sansa has known for years that Arya never wanted to be Lady of anything. Arya just said the lone wolf dies but the pack survives and went to Winterfell like 3 episodes ago. Please have a little faith in Arya, she's the best character in the show.

Daenerys and Cersei are the two most worthwhile characters the show has left.

Maybe others have a more decent opinion of her but while I liked her at first, every consecutive season has made me hate Daenerys just that little bit more until now I honestly find her fucking intolerable.

And yeah, I have my issues with any character. Jon's plot invincibility is absurd. At least other plot-protected characters, like Tyrion, you feel like they survive because they really know what they're doing and can think themselves out of things. Jon just bumbles stupidly into everything and only survives because the plot needs him to.

For me the only massively worthwhile characters left are Lannisters. Cersei, Tyrion and Jaime are the best characters still standing, but then this was expected from a series who routinely kill the most interesting characters. It was inevitable that the show would whittle the main cast down to only the ones who were too boring to be worth killing.

Basically, I'm Team Cersei until she inevitably dies. Then I'm Team Night King because fuck House Targaryen.

Tbh, Jon's stupidity and Arya's plot armor aside, I actually find all characters to still be worthwhile, a lot of characters who got killed off ended up that way because they were either outsmarted/made stupid mistakes. Except Margeary, who died despite being one step ahead of the rest. Next to Dany and Cersei, I also really like Tyrion for example, but ever since he joined Dany, he flatlined a bit until now.

It might have felt a bit rushed at times this season, but it's still one of the best shows I've seen. Next season is gonna be wild though, no one will be safe anymore. I expected the war with Cersei to end this season, so the way things are set up now I am very hopeful for the last chapter.
