Good Book Series Wanted.
I have gotten bored of the usual books I read and wanted to start on some new books. My preferred book setting is the medieval era. Please give me some recommendations!

I always recommend the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as a good book series, but it doesn't have anything to do with the medieval era, I'm afraid.

The Witcher series ! It's fantasy so it has a medieval vibe but it's definitely not historical.
Those are the books that made me read again.

If your willing to read fantasy fiction, you could do alot worse than Brandon Sanderson. Try either the mistborn trilogy or The Way of kings, which is part of the Stormlight Archive.
Also, Elantris, by the same author is pretty good.
If your okay with something abit more trashy, you could try the first series of books in the Noble dead saga. It has a definate and convincing medieval feel albeit, with Vampires and Elves (later on) I think the first book is called Dampyr and it has a solid, medieval, eastern european vibe, replete with slavic sounding names and village leaders known as Zupans.
If you want something less fantastical, you could try an old series called the Cadfael chronicles (there was even a short lived tv adaption of these books) about a Welsh, former crusader turned monk in 12th century england, who goes about solving crimes. It sound weird, but they are quite good, if you into that sort of thing and is praised for its historical accuracy. The first on is called, A morbid taste for bones, if I remember rightly.
Goodluck.

Have you read any of Ken Follett’s Kingsbridge books, such as Pillars of the Earth or World Without End?
