It's the KLF! AKA, The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, notorious for firing a machine gun (loaded with blanks) at their audience, and the small matter of burning a million pounds as an art piece.

They now realise that, in retrospect, they really needed that cash...

I've been in such a musical-loving mood lately. More so than usual, that is.

Aw nice, are we doing musicals now?

Used to have a theatrical friend who'd occasionally dress up as Dr. Frankenfurter to go drinking. I wonder what ever happened to him? Last I heard, he was a train conductor. Can't imagine they let him dress up for it, though. Squares.

Anyway, this is from the second best film in the world. The best film is The Warriors, as you of course know, but that's not a musical so you can have The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the greatest film ever made!

And if we are doing musicals now....

I could have used any song from Little Shop of Horrors because it's a god-tier movie musical but I always have a massive soft spot for Skid Row, especially the way the gradual crescendo of the finale builds from the 3:10 mark.

Man I really need to watch this film again now I've thought about it...

I played in the pit band for this musical when I was in secondary. I've actually never seen it, just read the script. I should probably watch it. Grease was a lot of fun, too.

More musicals, you say? Hedwig and the Angry Inch is one of the greatest. Neil Patrick Harris played Hedwig more recently, but I like the film version with JC Mitchell, so there you go:

I really need to see that musical at some point. I'd never heard of it until it was talked about in Sex Education. I made a point of watching it but haven't gotten round to it yet.

I'm liking the musical trend going on here. Speaking of a show that I need to see:

Miss Saigon filmed a live show for their 25th Anniversary and released it on blu ray. I've only ever seen act 1 of it, never watched act 2 for some reason and I don't know why because I adore act 1.

Oh, it's excellent. Good music, story's hilarious and poignant. Recommend.

Looping back to where I accidentally started this musical trend on here:

Not a good show, and a very unnecessary sequel to basically the perfect stage musical, but god damn this song is phenomenal!

I would always get the piss taken for liking soft-rock stuff, like Gerry Rafferty and Fleetwood Mac. I think they're great.

I have no idea who Gerry Rafferty is but I adore Fleetwood Mac. They've recently become probably my favourite 'classic' band, finally overtaking Duran Duran.

And anyone who mocks someone for liking soft-rock can suck a bag of dicks. I listen to music largely to relax, soft-rock does that job a right treat. Good tunes but easy to relax to.

You might have heard a few of his big hits: "Baker Street" (solo) and "Stuck in the Middle With You" (with Stealers Wheel)?

I like this one. It's quite a sad song, actually.
