Just posted this in The Cute Thread, but I guess it kinda belongs here too :):

Watch the whole thing :awesome:

Also so cute how happy the old black lady next to him looks when he starts singing... and that she gives him a hug at the end (3:44) :keke:

I never really played the game, but there's so much feeling here. And it's pretty cool watching a white guy singing in Swahili. :D

But seriously, I think he may be one of the cutest guys I've ever seen. :3 :runaway:

I've been fighting the urge for a couple of hours... was kinda waiting for someone else to be the last poster :D

Besides the above rendition of the Civ4 theme, I love this one:

All these videos make me smile so much. Something about the polyracial and multicultural makeup of the combined choirs for example :3

And this one:

And this rendition of the Civ6 theme:

I was amused to see that each of those last three was performed at an annual music festival in Llangollen, which happens to be the only Welsh town I've ever visited (in the mid-2000s with my English first boyfriend and his parents, who lived in Crewe, Cheshire, when I was 15-17). I still remember how to pronounce it, and my mom probably still has the postcard I sent her and my dad from there lying around somewhere. :D

My Spotify 'liked songs' playlist contains quite a few of the Civ VI themes :D

They just put me in a good mood to listen to.

Like, how can you feel sad listening to that?

Wow, the music for Civ 6 is really good... Also,

They also use Pokarekare Ana for one of the Maori themes! One of my favorite songs. And I see that the themes develop as you progress through the ages? That's so cool.

Once I've done the required ten billion hours on Europa Universalis 4, I will definitely pick up Civ 6.

Also also, procured Nap Eye's I'm Bad Now on big black seedee.

Loving this band. Great songwriting, very evocative, very chill, and supremely good vibage.

I really should just listen to more Elton John cause I keep stumbling across songs of his that I've never heard before and absolutely loving the hell out of them.

There's something about her intense facial expressions that's sort of... entrancing. :3

Some of them also remind me a lot of my second cousin.

Well, not all of them. :P
Anyway, it feels interestingly odd hearing this sung in British accents for the first time :D

These two be like, "Who says you need 200 musicians to do this song? Fuck that."

4 out of 5 being attractive ain't a bad ratio :keke: And ooh I love Peter Hollins so much

Continuing our earlier theme of "video game music performned live is amazing" I present the best bit of music from my favourite video game series:
