Love Kate Bush! The Kate Bush/Peter Gabrielle collab they did for "Don't Give Up" is a really wonderful song. Released amidst the devastating effects of mass unemployment in 1980's Britain.

Also, just heard a few tracks by Special Interest! Like the ambient backing juxtaposed with the abrasive guitar. Very cool.

Fun song, fun video. One of my colleagues used to be a proper goth. Won't show me the pictures. :( Seeing a goth is such a rare occurrence these days. Outside of the odd industrial DJ set, that is: when all five of them show up. Bring back the goths!

Also, Now and Not Yet, by Hammock.

Achingly beautiful violin solo at 3.10.

My colleague was whistling the Gremlins 2 theme at work today. It took me ages to recognise what it was and he didn't even know how he knew it or that he was whistling it but now it's stuck in my head.

So I looked it up on YouTube when I got home and found this:

Holy shit they finally released a soundtrack of some of the songs sung in the show Lucifer so I can enjoy Tom Ellis's dreamy as fuck voice without the overlapping dialogue and whatnot.

If I have to suffer through this I'm taking the rest of you down with me!

Spent the entire night at work quietly singing it to myself like a damn crazy person. :sadblue:

On the one hand, he’s really been milking this pity party since 2015 with “I’ll Show You” to I guess give his music more depth, even if it comes off forced and artificial (at least to me) probably from Beyoncé having raised the bar for pop music hits. On the other hand, he has kind of gone through a bald-headed-Britney-chasing-paparazzis-with-umbrellas phase.

Blow: "Nowadays even Liam can release an album of his screechy vocals and it'll probably go #1..."
Ramzus: I can admit that I'm horny just about 24/7
homomorphism: I used to not think your name was deshay and that Erick was just being racist
Hunter: sometimes I think I was literally born to be a pornstar

Is it weird that I'm constantly obsessed with this song and yet have never actually seen the film?

I know this is from a different film but I couldn't resist posting another song from an 80s soundtrack :D
