Woo! Represent! Love this song.

Here's Muna.
Well, that's my elctro-poppy break from my current fare. Introducing:
Apparently notorious for sending pornographic love letters to Johnny Depp, whom they were obsessed with. I mean, he is quite nice looking I suppose.

Some newer artists, both with great singing voices, imo. Here's one from the mysterious Orville Peck. Who is Orville Peck? Shall we ever know? Does it matter? Will he be releasing more music soon? Yes!
Another one, this time from Stephin Merritt and The Magnetic Fields. A tragic tale of impossible love which amused me greatly.

Moar Jimmy Somerville. Solo, disco Jimmy Somerville, this time.
Original is by Sylvester, who's an interesting artist, too. I just like the Somerville version a bit better. Punchier.

Harel Skaat* from Israel. The most underrated singer ever:
* the black-haired one in this video clip.
* I am not him.

I've posted this before, but it's still a favorite.

Saw the name and for a moment thought you wonderfully shameless.

Anyone into Christine and the Queens?
Second favorite current French singer. Banjamin Clementine just squeaks into first place.
EDIT: Upon closer inspection, Benjamin Clementine is actually British. Christine and the Queens back in first place.

Obvious first choice, and an absolute banger from Electric Six. Yup, it's "Gay Bar".
Or alternatively, if that's a bit too on the nose, how about "Smalltown Boy" by the Synthpop band Bronski Beat. It's a pretty powerful tune.
I loved these two songs when I was younger, brings back memories of when
I was younger dancing to this home alone in my room

Elton John was another favorite
Lil Nas X is ok
And you can't mention Queen without posting this

Every musical excursion leads back to Queen.
Ah, Rogerina: creating confusing feelings in straight guys since '84.

Scissor Sisters! I remember loads of fans really disliking Magic Hour, but there's some really good tunes on there.
No, fuck that equivocation, it's a great album. Has this aggressively gay madness:
Just seen that the drummer drops his sticks at 2:18. Hadn't noticed before now. I take no blame. I mean, Ana Matronic and Jake Shears... there's something to keep everybody's eyes up front.
Also, who is the drummer here? I can't seem to find out.

Have we already had some Erasure? I forget. Synth-pop all just kind of melds into one long bop, in my mind.
Anyway, here's moar Erasure: biggest hits include "A Little Respect", and that song you definitely know from Robot Unicorn Attack*. Remember that?
*The song is "Always".

Re: The LGBT+ Music Thread
I don't understand the lyrics to this song as its not in English (I think its in French Occitan), but I've heard its an anti-homophobia song about the love between two women.
Interesting band, they combine a lot of different musical styles from different cultures.
This gives more info about them

Very interesting sound! Also, another band which has a flautist that I can add to the "Flutey Friday" playlist (played by tradition in the work van every week). Good thing, too, since it's pretty much just Jethro Tull at the moment.

Here's a song you'll all have heard before:
Legendary song as a protest against the Apartheid regime in South Africa by Labi Siffre.
