At first I thought it was going to be like some cheesy teen drama like Teen Wolf (no offense to fans like Davey and Derek :P) but this is actually really well done. The Spanish have been killing it lately. I also highly, highly recommend Money Heist (Casa de Papel). Both very good but different. Money Heist is closer to the show Homeland because it’s more action packed but the character development is great.

René’s cousin also recommend Casa de Papel; it took me ages to figure out it was “Money Heist” on Netflix.

 You’re not the only one who’s said that. One of my friends for the longest time thought I was talking about two different shows. I wonder if they opted to choose a different name from “House of Paper” to not get it confused with House of Cards. Then again, there’s a show called Heist, so…

Casa de Papel is definitely the better show, but Elite I think is solid. Very likable characters with interesting arcs.

When René's cousin first told us in spoken word, I had thought she said Casa de Papa, so I thought it was something referencing religion, until she wrote it in a message.

Just finished season 4 of Elite and it was a dumpster fire.

I still recommend seasons 1 through 3. The 3rd season is where the show ended for me. There was no need to extend it any further.

Here are some pics of my favorite characters:

Here’s a pic from one the hottest scenes for me (the wank between friends):

And the best scene from the series (Lucrecia’s speech):

Blow: "Nowadays even Liam can release an album of his screechy vocals and it'll probably go #1..."
Ramzus: I can admit that I'm horny just about 24/7
homomorphism: I used to not think your name was deshay and that Erick was just being racist
Hunter: sometimes I think I was literally born to be a pornstar

Starting watching Once Upon a Time from the beginning.

It's stupid, the plot is nonsense, a lot of the acting is pretty lame, the visual effects are mostly terrible, it's reliant completely on overblown melodrama...

And I fucking love every second of it.

Does it have scenes like this?

TNG had an absolutely awful first two seasons, before finding it's footing and picking up pacing as it went on. The final 3 seasons being it's strongest.

I'd recommend giving those seasons a try. There is no real season arcs, it being highly episodic by design. I could recommend episodes of note if your interested.

poolerboy0077 wrote:Has anyone here watched the German series “Dark”? I thought it was pretty interesting. It’s a time travel sci-fi thriller but they don’t do the typical cheesy American tropes. I would recommend it to everyone, but definitely keep the original language and just add subtitles, because the dub will kill the vibe.

I did actually get round to watching this after work over the last two weeks and it was absolutely brilliant. Well crafted. I also agree, it needs to be watched in the original language. I hadn't expected to sit down and binge it, but honestly. It all just worked.

I started watching Wheel of Time and for me, the jury is still out. It's in far too much of a hurry to unfold and I think it suffers for the rush.

Gonna start on the Witcher season 2. I was gonna binge the last series of the Expanse but Amazon is doing that thing where they only release an episode a week. Which is bullshit in my opinion. Whats the point?

Also waiting for the next season of the Boys. :argh: Hurry up!

I watched the Mandoalorian and I thought it was good, I think.

I don't know if I liked it because baby yoda/Grogu was cute though.

I have a sneaky suspicion I'd have lost interest if it wasn't for Mando and Grogu being funny.

I've been watching The Wheel of Time and, as someone who's never read the books, I think it's quite good and has gotten better with each episode. Though I dislike a lot of the casting choices.

It's no Game of Thrones, but considering how that show started off near its peak… maybe that's a good thing.

I think Rosamund Pike was an awesome casting choice. Josha Stradowski... I like too but I might be blinkered on that one, because he looks sexy.

Alot of the young female cast I find annoying, infact, scratch that, I find all of the younger main cast annoying. Barney Harris and Marcus Rutherford seem like miscast choices but it could also be the writing. I feel like one character has barely had any development, while the other has the same problem yet had plenty happen to him, that lacks real context. Maybe book readers would understand more.

I think the series needs abut more narrative room to breath but in the hurry to establish itself and get to the meat of the first book it's based on, it hasn't really given itself any room to do so.

Kate Fleetwood, who plays Liandrin, I can't figure if I don't like her performance or the character, in that, someone I love to hate kind of way.

It might get better as time goes forward.

I feel like I've read some wheel of time books, it's really familiar, watching the show.

But I can't be sure. I've read quite possibly, hundreds of fantasy novels, covering dozens of series and they have all kind of bled into one another.

There are very few that have left distinct impressions. Sanderson and Pratchet are exceptions. Some science fiction writers have stood out better too.

Otherwise, it's like, I recall a series with vampires, murderous elves and sages. Another series with a necromancer king whose brother deposed him. Magical assassin... horny fairy girl... I couldn't give you specifics of each story, just vague outlines.

I havent read anything in ages actually.

Oooh, I wanna read something!

Sanderson is so good! Though I've only read mistborn and skyward. I'd like to read wheel of time but it's so massive I don't have the time (pun!). Might do the show instead and hope they finish it.

Elantris and the short story, Emperors Soul are good by Sanderson.

I have an audiobook of Elantris sitting around. I'll have to give that a go. The thought that goes into his worlds is super cool.

"Euphoria" Season 2 ... Jacob Elordi's toxic jock is what I need in my hole right now. Since he has a thing for trans girls, I'd even bust out the negligee and wig this insanely hot frat guy — a man of alarming similarity to Elordi's Nate — bought me five years back as a condition for the right to service his huge cock. Pink silky undergarments and a cheap brunette disguise are a modest burden to bear when in the most erotic corners of your whore memory you can still feel his cock throb at the moment of ejaculation and his full balls pulse against your ass as he begins to release three days' worth of semen inside your well-used rectum and dismisses your contribution as the work of "a fucking cumdump faggot"before forcing you, even in protestation, to confront the realities of your anal hygiene, then washes it all down with recycled domestic beer and slaps your face for the disrespect shown to his masculine authority, leaving you with pools of spit upon your face and cum dripping from your anus into your now torn ladies' unmentionables, your wig already snatched in the grunting, volcanic moment of climax, ready to discard you for the haven of his girlfriend's apartment but for one last flash of creativity — a final indignity he delivers as he orders you to lie flat on the bedroom floor and lower his thick bubble butt over your mouth and tells you to start eating his asshole out through the lips he painted red and kissed merely once before you had any of his bodily fluids in your mouth. He tells you to pull your "cute, bottom-bitch, baby fag dick" out — he makes the comparison to his dick, long, thick and straight (LOL at this point into the evening, but you didn't actually laugh out loud; you let him believe his masculine delusions for both of your enjoyment) — and make yourself orgasm, an unusual act of kindness you think till he begins to fart directly in your mouth, which to your shame makes you shoot your load almost immediately onto those discount undergarments from the Macy's women's department, and he warns next time he might use you as his toilet for his amusement should you be lucky enough to service his alpha phallus again (you weren't).

For older streaming, I just watched the incredibly titled — and frighteningly accurate — "Sex and Violence" from Canada's gay channel Out TV (available for free trial and cheap thereafter on Apple TV+). I admit I was drawn in by a clip of the show's gay, and frequently nude, serial killer, who murders his lovers while sodomizing them, employing his belt as the instrument of death and then staging their demise as accidental erotic asphyxiation. But the show overall is quite interesting. From the violence perspective, the show follows police but more acutely homes in on domestic violence in the city of Halifax. The characters include social workers, therapists and the operators of a women's shelter. Gay, lesbian and straight characters grapple with the realities of sexual violence while trying to maintain their own romantic relationships. And there is sex galore of all sexual orientations, age groups — and most alarmingly — degrees of attractiveness. There's indeed some ugly sex here (like old women eating dude's holes out), but you are rewarded for your stomach's superior constitution for making it to season 3 with a tall, hung, incredibly beautiful actor named Alex Purdy playing the closeted survivor of a school shooting and you see him nude often and sodomized once.

Cum for the balls-deep anal penetration, stay for the deeply probed social issues.
