Video Games
Video Games
Does anyone else like video games? I am going through a really awful stage with it all right now. I am getting really into real high-quality video games. Mainly indie ~*a r t i s t i c*~ games like "Dear Esther", "Thomas Was Alone" or "Machinarium", all of which I recommend highly.
But I just recently unlocked the "Clean Hands" achievement in Dishonored for completing the game without killing anyone and that game slayed and you should all play it.
SO YEAH VIDEO GAMES WHAT'S UP? Any to recommend? Any you just wanna talk about or get advice on? I wanna get some new games soon since I've got pretty much every ending in Dishonored and idk when Dragonborn will be available on PC.

Re: Video Games
Dear Esther was pretty good, although rather bland. They did accomplish what they set out to do, I guess. I'm excited to see what they do with Frictional Games in the new Amnesia. Dishonored was... for lack of a better word, meh...

Re: Video Games
I like a good game but nowadays there seems to be a shortage of games that interest me. Not to mention that I don't have time to really sit down and enjoy a good gaming session between classes/work/training/friends. However I guess these would be my top 10 in no particular order favoritism.
1. Okami
2. Shadow Of The Colossus
3. Pokemon (Pretty much any of the versions)
4.Jurassic Park Operation Genesis
5.Kingdom Hearts II
6.Resident Evil 4
7.Super Smash Bros
8.Legend of Zelda (Series)
9. Valkyria Chronicles
10. Devil May Cry (Series)

Re: Video Games
I do a lot of gaming. I tend to focus on one or two at a time. At the moment, I've been playing a bit of Diablo III with my friends. Couple weeks ago we were into Halo 4.

Re: Video Games
Lately I've been playing Telltale games' The Walking Dead, which is great. Shooty wise I'm getting properly into Planetside 2 although I'm still limited by not having my own powerful PC (I use Ben's) or a mic'd headset which for Ps2 are essential. When I can finally buy a new pc (hopefully soon) I plan on joining The Trojan Trolls, an all experience outfit that has it's roots in EVE (which I may get back into).
Going to have another first attempt at penetrating Dota 2's arcane ways, noob lich hereIcome.

Re: Video Games
I used to game a lot. And I will occasionally play the the good old ones. Like, the first three Silent Hill games, Ocarina of Time, the first Halo, SW: Knights of the Old Republic. I do also like the Call of Duty games though.

Really? It's been contested how far the developer had finished or how well the company could meet its project targets.

Re: Video Games
I dunno. Last I heard they had finished the major work and only needed balancing and bug fixes. Which actually takes a huge amount of time and lots of money. But still. They were on the way to delivering an exciting product.
Hopefully Disney is going to be a lot more progressive in their approach to interactive media.

Yeah hopefully, holding onto that hope for SW: 1313, that and success in mobile might embolden them back into pc and console platforms.

I was. Until they turned it into a WoW clone. With the interface and the clicking and everything.
Hopefully they listened to the fans and figured out that's not what TES is all about.

Re: Video Games
Since I invested in a Playstation, I've found myself playing system update a lot more frequently. Always before playing anything else, in fact.

Re: Video Games
I play Guild Wars 2 intermittently, mainly because its not on subscription.
Otherwise I don't really play that many video games as I used to, just never seem to have to time. I've still got a copy of Black Ops 2 not even out of the cellophane, I should probably return it.
