What a shame no Nintendo titles are mentioned. D:

Hopefully they listened to the fans and figured out that's not what TES is all about.

the interface and clicking has nothing to do with what makes a WoW clone a WoW clone.

Yes, I do. I prefer fighting games like Soul Calibur and Tekken. They have many awesome characters (including some hot boys), are quick and easy to play, lot of fun and you don't need to invest much times in them unless you play in tournaments.

I have Steam and Xbox Live, but I've been playing a lot of Minecraft lately. Both are the same as my username if anyone wants to add me.

I finally got around to completing Grand Theft Auto IV's main storyline. I'd not done it before due to losing interest in the story about half way through...I made it about two thirds through and it clearly grows out of ideas and just goes in circles with dull 'gang' characters that are poor imitations of characters we saw in the PS2 games. I know the game has two different endings...I can't be bothered to go get the other one. It was a good game in its own way, but GTA 4 is frustratingly constricted.

Going back to Assassins Creed 3 now, as the storyline is proving longer on that than I imagined it would be. Assassins Creed 4 has been announced for this year... another new character and location. I best get cracking with this one... also, love the naval missions *feels like Jack Sparrow* :3

 The naval battles are immense, yes. Why is this not a game in itself?!

I was thinking that... I thought they could easily make a game out of this rather than leaping straight into another era with the next game :D

Naval missions were amazing. :awesome:

Can't wait for the King Washington DLC coming next week - assuming they don't push it back AGAIN.

Tell me about it.

I don't really have the time/inclination to play video games anymore but I used to love Nintendo.

Hate the fact that FPS games are so popular nowadays :/

Basically have only been playing Dota 2 recently and messing around a little with the HotS beta. Played Farcry 3 when it came out which was a lot of fun.

Sadly I don't have as much time for video games these days :(

A third game in the Batman: Arkham series was confirmed for release later this year, potentially early 2014.

Rumours abound that it will be a prequel showing when Batman and the Joker met, whilst others are saying that other superheroes will be included. Not a fan of these ideas...'Asylum and 'City did a brilliant enough job to make their own mark

GTA 3 is still my favourite of the lot...an absolute classic! :D I'm going to buy them for my PS3 soon, now that they're all available quite cheap for download. I finished GTA 4 recently, and am missing my fix :P

__

Just finished the main storyline in Assassins Creed 3, and I'm not really sure what I thought of it. Usually if the historical ending lets me down then it gets made up for by the Desmond ending... here, neither of them felt like a satisfying conclusion. The whole final segment felt rushed after so much build up - the historical ending annoyed me because they change the hierarchy of the bad guys out of nowhere and the game isn't yet finished... it's the equivalent of J.K.Rowling deciding to kill off Voldemort in the penultimate book and having a final showdown with Peter Pettigrew! The present day ending was even less impressive, with no real indication of what it was that happened, no proper closure and a disappointing end to a familiar character (you may realise, I'm trying to avoid the massive spoilers here). It was just odd that this game took me across the Eastern US, the Caribbean, England, Brazil, Italy and Greenland...and yet the final level involved the opening of a door, then a cut scene...no gameplay at all. In fact, there was no actual final level. AC2 had you fighting the Pope in the chambers of the Vatican, AC: Brotherhood had you fighting the Borgias atop a castle in Spain, AC: Revelations had you 'parashooting' against Ottomans across half of Turkey. This game had no climatic final level in either of its segments and felt unfinished. We never got any closure on half the characters... Achilles, George Washington etc. It burnt out before the end.

Outside of that though, it was a brilliant game with beautiful graphics and the plot was strong for much of it, if a bit clunky. The game always had too much going on at once to be coherent, but at least I learned an awful bloody lot about the American Revolution.

Hopefully the 'new leaf' in question is that Tom Nook has been exiled and the town can actually afford to start progressing at an affordable rate

Where is it being held? Hopefully Japan... if it's the US, we won't hear about it in Europe until much later in the day :|
