We play on EUW. We play regularly for a year now therefore we are level 30.

We figured from your location. They need to nerf Xin Zhao aka Win Nao immediately. According to PBE they gonna do it, But with current meta which is health stack, he deals pretty op damage even when full tanky.

Because console piracy is harder. And because of the limited sets of hardware that make development easier. And therefore the big developers are more likely to invest in console gaming because it will make them more money. PC versions become shitty afterthoughts.
As much as I love the indie world, there are a lot of superhuge games I really want to play that I know are only going to happen on consoles. And that sucks.
But the console-makers are waging an all-out war on consumers: used games not allowed, old purchases defunct, third-party peripherals prevented.
You can't expect drug dealers to change their ways if you keep buying their crack, David.
Eh, voting with your wallet doesn't always work out so well anyway these days (RIP THQ).
I find the studio practices despicable and fully hope one of the bloated bad ones tank like the film studio United Artists did after Michael Cimino's bloated flop Heaven's Gate. But I think that it will take at least another two years of drama before anything meaningfully changes within the console developers. The Wii U is at the wayside even after the claims of Dev. support, and Microsoft and Sony seem set to piss off more people even as they entice with their new franchise instalments.
Until we see Devs shitting their britches over competition with tablets (which even then won't change much) I think that they'll stay on course for another year of shit.
I'm keenly watching the Gearbox/Sega/Timegate Studios saga as we await the repercussions of that clusterfuck of a AAA title.
Apart from Metal Gear Zeroes I'm staying away from consoles this year (once again). There's just too much on the PC realm that keeps me excited -especially when those kickstarted release their betas.

It's funny because these so called "big developers" make terrible lackluster games. Rehash after rehash after rehash after rehash every year. But people eat it up so more power to them?

And people actually say that consoles have better titles... The only console exclusive title I can think of that was good was Dark Souls, and that's on the PC now.

Oh I don't know, to me there will always be special places for Okami, God of War and Metal Gear solid(s). Hell I even loved the first Killzone.

I did and it used to be RPG or even FPS (thanks to TF2). But these days my behaviour shows me I don't really have one.
It isn't really a genre but Indie Developers have been winning me over with games like Hotline Miami, Keyboard Drumset Fucking Werewolf, Antichamber, Teleglitch, Gratuitous Space Battles and Sang Froid (unreleased).
There's just such a vibrancy in that sphere, it's hard to resist.
What are yours Lucas?

Gran Turismo. Journey. Super Smash Brothers. Mario Kart. Okami. God of War. Animal Crossing. Elite Beat Agents. Shadow of the Colossus. Jak and Daxter. Syphon Filter. Tombi. Kurushi. Little Big Planet. Mario Bros. Professor Layton. Soul Calibur. Katamari. Kingdom Hearts. Phoenix Wright. Zone of the Enders. Uncharted. Ico. Fire Emblem. Medieval. Breath of Fire. Advance Wars. That's out of the ones I can remember playing. I'm sure some of them have PC versions. But the console versions were always better, or at least more appropriate.

Oooh interesting. I see games with werewolves intrigue you, nice. Where do you find out about these independent games? That Charles Barkley game was hilarious, and these games you listed look like fun.
If I had to pick a favorite I'd say RPG's, specifically Baldur's Gate(I have a great idea for a 3rd one, but it will never happen), Icewind Dale, Final Fantasy, The Elder Scrolls series, the Diablo series, Gauntlet Legends series, Neverwinter nights, and Mass Effect. However I also really like FPS games and RTS games. For FPS games Halo, Crysis, Golden Eye and the Metroid Prime Series. For RTS games I like Starcraft, Warcraft and Age of Empires(I played II nonstop for like a year when I was like 11 or 12).
Then obviously there are other great games I don't know how to categorize. The Legend of Zelda, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, and Metroid
And of Course Mortal Kombat( my ex and I would get so competitive hahaha), Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Streets of Rage, Double Dragon, Contra, GOLDEN AXE hahaha many random games that I really like.

I've always loved Gothic Horror and have grown up loving them as fantasy stock. I think by far the best two werewolves were Diablo 2 Druids and those in Van Helsing.
The best transformation was American Werewolf in London.

I read a lot of games journalism both on blogs and magazines. RockPaperShotgun, Polygo, PA Report, Destructoid, NightmareMode and others. While fieldworking I found the time to listen to podcasts and heard Podtoid, Sup Holmes?, Idle Thumbs and Giant Bomb. Paying attention to sites like those and playing the games they were talking about and seeing what developers were related to (something PC Powerplay taught me when I was younger). By following along I've found beautiful, smart, emotional and creative games that have given me so much more enjoyment than what I had, just playing AAA and B/C grade industry titles.
Look at the Steam Greenlight games, play some of these http://cactusquid.com/games.htm http://twinbeardstudios.com/ and listen to informal developer interviews (like Sup Holmes?)

Oh man Mortal Kombat takes me back. MK 4 was great. I'm surprised you haven't mentioned Metal Slug!
Also about your Baldar's gate idea I still think you should grab a game maker and adapt it into its own thing. It could be great!
You're right Davey. I've played and liked a lot of those, particularly Katamari Damacy and Spyro; I grew up playing Vigilante 8 Second Offence on Playstation and not being able to play the new good console games has been slightly crushing. Indie PC games keep me going.

Davey, when I said consoles, i meant like.. current gen consoles.
Depends.
For singleplayer, definitely horror / immersion focused games. A few that come to mind are Amnesia, Thief, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Multiplayer I can play pretty much anything with the right people.

I used to play RPGs but I suddenly just lost all interest in'em.

Admittedly we've come into the age of the multiplatform bullshit. I mentioned a whole lot of PS3, 3DS and 360 games, though (there are zero games I want to play on the PSP/Vita platform). I'm not saying that consoles have the better titles. But my favorite games on consoles are the ones that make the most sense on the consoles. Like Pokemon makes the most sense on handheld, while Final Fantasy is best on a console, where you have just one button and hours and hours of time just sitting around reading text. And Mario Kart is best played with three or more frenemies in a living room with plenty of alcohol.
Also out of everything I've seen of the PS4 lineup, Watch Dogs, which is just...

Re: Video Games
I can't wait for Apple to essentially turn the Apple TV into a console by opening an App Store.
The gyroscopes and accelerometers in iPads and iPhones are a whole more more sensitive than the ones in Sony's Sixaxis and Nintendo's MotionPlus, and the capacitive screens would allow for developers — of all kinds; big, small, independent, or even home-fiddler-level — to create whatever controls they want, rather than keeping to a predefined arrangement of buttons. The price is also much less, the box much smaller and efficient, and the specs would improve much faster what with Apple's usual 1-2 year release cycle as opposed to the Big Three's 5-8 year cycle.

Funny thing is that the gyroscope on my iPhone is better than anything similar in any other device I own - including 4 android devices, Wii and PS3 controllers, even the gyro on my Macbook. There's another angle about Apple products: You're overpaying for these weird, expensive design decisions that once in every while make you think... Oh, wow, I'm glad it's there.
