So do you not have all the fruits or flowers?

What's your native flower and available seeds? Mine is pansies and I have hyacinth seeds available at Nook's Cranny. I've recently got mums and roses growing, too.

My native fruit is cherries like yours, I also get apples and coconuts from island tours and I have some oranges I got from a letter. I don't yet have peaches or pears.

I always thought flowers were seasonal and that the flowers on my island were simply the ones for spring. I have windflowers, hyacinths, pansies, and tulips.

This game is super fun! My brother used to be a member of a board games club, and he'd bring home a board game each week for us to play and this one was great. Obviously rather pertinent at the moment, so me and my brothers have been wanting to get our hands on it to play again - if only board games weren't so bloody expensive. I'd be interested to know how you got on developing your own rule set for solitaire, if I remember correctly when I played it the game was very co-op oriented and the specialists' abilities were also an important aspect.

Up until recently I was playing Breath of The Wild but since the whole Wii-U being too dirty thing I can’t. Every time I try to do anything in Akkala it kind of crashes.

My husband has ordered a small set of screwdrivers that he can use to finish taking the console apart to clean it, but with the whole vivid-19 thing it could take awhile to actually receive the tools. :(
Why are you?

What's your verdict? Never really been into Capcom games, but I've heard good things about this one.

I’ve been playing Wind Waker HD on the wii-u because I wanted to experience the upgrades from the GameCube first hand.

It’s been great except for one frustrating issue with wii-U game pad controls. I would’ve loved the ability to map the sword to Y instead of B, and the ‘action’ button from A to B. I understand the GameCube controller had sword as B and action as A, but that isn’t where those buttons are on the wii-u pad. I can’t count all the times I accidentally pressed the wrong buttons due to muscle memory.

A solution would be to use the emulated GameCube controller, which I do own. However you lose the gyroscope controls which I do think is an awesome change. It ends up being a case of ‘pick your poison’ which could’ve been avoided with a simple button mapping option included in game options. :pfft:

Trying to play and finally finish Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood but finding myself increasingly fucking pissed off with the unrealistic expectations of its side missions.

Like it'll throw you a literal 9-stage mission and to get 100% completion on it you have to fulfil an arbitrary extra condition. So one side mission you have to remain unseen by guards as you follow a guy into a fortress, beat the guy up, destroy blueprints for a tank, free two guys to help you pilot the tank, fight with them out of the fortress, sneak through an underground passage to get to the tank, destroy numerous cannons along a narrow path, destroy another tank with yours, then destroy two more tanks with yours.

And if you take any damage at all during the last sections where you're controlling the tank, you fail the 100% condition and it's not enough to just let yourself die to go back to a checkpoint. Because the failure will still register regardless even if you reset back to a point before you got damaged. No, you have to restart the ENTIRE mission from the VERY beginning again.

Or it'll drop you into a secret location. The game stores collectable flags, 3 apiece, in these secret locations and to 100% the game you have to collect all of them. But all the secret locations either kick into gameplay where you have to chase a guy down an elaborate series of hallways (in which case if you chase the guy you miss the flags but if you stop for the flags you fail the chase and have to do it all again) or the 100% completion condition is to get to the end of the whole dungeon area within a time limit (so if you rush it to hit the time limit you ignore the flags but if you hunt for the flags you fail the time limit and have to do the whole thing again).

I'm just getting really fucking pissed off with it.

Recovering from addiction. Whoever it was who suggested Europa Universalis 4 as a good strategy game to pass the time, know that you've destroyed me.

I'm good at strategy games. I bought EU4, had a looksie, decided that it wouldn't take too long to figure it all out. I was wrong. This game is mental in its complexity. Now I'm managing the Russian Empire full time and not sleeping very much. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth next door has a professional army and loads of guns, so I need to maintain a 100k strong standing army armed with pointy sticks and farming equipment, backed up by the slightly more impressive Streltsy and Cossack regiments, who demand all sorts of nonsense in return for their service. There's a boyar junta in progress. My expansion eastwards continues purely to obtain more manpower: I raise regiments, send them to the front, they die, I raise more. Currency is completely debased at this point, population continually on the verge of starvation, and the Renaissance has barely touched the vast majority of Russia. The Metropolitans are demanding more beards or something. The Tsar is 16 years old.

Fuckin' Russia, man...

This is why I keep my strategy gaming to just Civ VI at this point. Any Paradox game just melts my brain. That said I'm terrible at Civ too so it's not like it's any more relaxing for me. I think my brain just isn't built to handle the level of multitasking that grand strategy games require, I always end up focusing on one aspect and getting screwed somewhere else.

The semi real-time mechanics of EU is also quite challenging if you're more used to turn-based. Apparently, the pros play it without pausing (which I assume is usual in multiplayer), but I need to pause a lot at the moment. Seems even more complex than Hearts of Iron.

On the Russian Empire, I've been invaded by the PLC, and the bastard Swedes (who I aided significantly in their independence wars) have backed out of the fighting. Now I've had to concede most of my border provinces to the monster blob of eastern Europe. Not sure if I can recover from this. I'll just need to pray for a Commonwealth implosion or a grand coalition.

Russia's needs a PR makeover. Now deciding whether to make alliances with France (heretic scum) or the Ottomans (heathen scum). Come to think of it, a Russo-Ottoman alliance would surely make Europe tremble. That'd be insane.

As a burgeoning nerd for European history (especially Russia) I've always wanted to try getting into EU4 but I just know it's WAY too daunting for me to ever even attempt it. HOI4 is way too complex for me and EU4 is even more complicated so it's forever a "fuck that noise" kind of game for me.

OT: I've spent the past couple of days downloading, deleting, and re-downloading the PS4 Spider-Man game. I really want to play it again, properly finish it (I lost my cool with some side missions the first time and abandoned it) and hopefully, looking at the trophy list, get the Platinum on it.

But I just can't seem to make myself commit to the thing for some reason.

I've 100% completed the main game and just got the dlc left to do. Can't get past the 'screwball' challenges.

I've been playing starwars battlefront 2. I thought it was mostly an online battle match sort of game and I did know that it had single player which is why I bought it, but I wasn't expecting it to have a full thought out story that ties in between episode 6 and 7. Its brilliant.
