I went back to play an old favorite of mine, Mass Effect. I like the build up across the three games to finally get with Kaiden.

Did you know the gay romance with Kaidan was completely finished in ME1 but was just cut out of the release? There's a mod that restores it perfectly.

Doesn't that mod simply convert his romance dialogue with female characters, to work with male ones? So he ends up calling your character "she" and "her" all the time

You're thinking of Dragon Age. Kaidan's romance was fully complete. The mod just restores it.

Currently I have 5 games installed which I play depending on my mood: CarX Drift Racing Online, GRID 2, Hard Truck Apocalypse, Mad Max and Sniper Ghost Warrior 1.

Ghost of tsushima.

I've mixed thoughts about it.

Its graphics are amazing and its story is ok, but you know what to expect. It does have a few moments though that make you feel badass as you charge into battle, storm castles and enact vengeance on the mongol invaders.

Its gameplay lets it down a bit though as it is repetitive and its combat system is not really that complicated either. Its all about timing and precision so I find that challenging myself sometimes but really all you do is press triangle to attack, L1 to block and circle to dodge. So pretty simple and there isn't any combos. The combat does look pretty cool though.

Not a bad game though, its in Japan and its about Samurai's and Ninja's and mongols and it has really beautiful graphics. I liked it much more than I did Assassin's creed odyssey.

Rediscovered my 2DS with Pokémon Blue installed on it so... yeah that's happening again.

Though it reminded me of my personal hatred of the Pokémon games. Because I'm an obsessive for collectible anything in video games and given how old this game is and how nobody I know has the 2DS/3DS version of Pokémon Red I will never be able to have a complete Pokédex, ever.

I spend so much time on my computer — working, communicating, reading news, etc — that I prefer to play without it.

This is my latest summer favorite.

I only ever played the class story for the Sith Inquisitor. I loved that this supposedly mmo, was remarkably single player friendly :awesome:

Assassin's Creed Revelations to try and get the Platinum trophy before moving on to the next game in the series.

Pokémon Blue for the nostalgia.

And I'm really, really tempted to start playing the Kingdom Hearts series. I own the remastered collections and the 3rd game on PS4 cause I bought them a while ago when the whole bundle was on sale in a ludicrously good deal. I got a couple of worlds into the 1st game and then for some reason just... stopped. I didn't get stuck, I just wandered away from it and I don't know why.

Though I also want to start the Devil May Cry series because I own the remasters of the first 3 of those too.

I have too many things to play or that I want to play and not enough time in my life to do it.

Crusader Kings 3.

I'm really bummed it got released, just as my furlough ended. I was really starting to enjoy having so much time to game, it was almost like being a teenager again :awesome:

Instead, I'm having to grab an hour here or an hour there after work while I cook.

But ot's been great fun so far.

My first game saw me take on the role of a Norwegian norse chieftain Hakkon, father a brood of rowdy offspring and launch a campaign of conquest of the British Isles.

Two generations later, Welsh grandson of that same norse conqueror, was waging bloody war against his brother, a convert to christianiaty and King of Ireland, for control of the Isles. Several assassinations and two wars on, we both wound up dead and our simple, dwarf half brother, son of a concubine inherited the lot... only to be overthrown by an alliance of angry Scottish nobles.... :pfft: so ended the (not so)glorious Tostige dynasty.

I think next time I'll be sure to prune the family tree, to prevent sibling rivalries.

Infanticide FTW.

I'd kind of like to play Fable /II/III because our boyfriend was playing them on his Xbox 360 and they looked super interesting, but even though they were originally released for PC, and at least Fable III on Steam to boot, none of them are available now (except an expensive Anniversary Edition of the original). :argh:

Fable II & III has famous voice actors and are clearly big-budget games. I don't understand why their publishers wouldn't want to maintain a market presence and keep milking them for some amount of money.

I love those games, but Fable 3 was bad enough that it damaged the studio's reputation. They recently announced Fable 4 though so we'll see what happens.

Pokémon Fire Red, and I’m hacking it to add more variety to the Pokémon, creating new ones and tweaking and adding moves. :glasses:
