What games are you playing?
Re: What games are you playing?
Fable 1 and 2, were like many of Peter Molyneuxs creations, really good games that feel far short of his original vision and promise.
Fable 3 had alot going for it, mechanics wasn't one of those things. It was so easy to become filthy rich, by being evil, that half the games mechanics became optional or redundant filler.
Lionhead studios I think went bust in the end and Microsoft Game Studios was the publisher. They still retain the license and I bet the fourth installment is slated for the new console generation.

It had its moments, but turning everything into a microtransaction was offensive enough that it kind of sinks the entire game. Also pacing issues, shallow gameplay, and visually lacking.
Perhaps the bigger problems with the entire series was that the gimmick of player choice really wasn't adding much. It was novel in the first game which helps excuse its shortcoming, but it was never executed well.

I loved the fart animations, but maybe not as much as the vulgar thrust.

Re: What games are you playing?
I am currently playing The LongDark. I am personally a great fan of this game because I like to play survival games because I think they are close to reality. After playing this game too much I came to practice different survival skills in this game. I want to share those points which I gathered from my personal experience to remain alive in the game.
1 Navigation is the key in this game.
2 Manage the resources.
3 Set up Camp and be efficient.
4 Prioritize tasks.
These are some general tips I want to give from my experience. Other than this, I want to say be creative and enjoy this game because only the tough one survives.

Relax, gamers haven't lost anything. Bethesda's games have always been unfinished, badly optimized for performance and not even as interesting as they hoped, so that deal is not a loss at all. AAMOF, as much I distrust Microsoft, there are a few old games of theirs that I like more than any Bethesda's game, so this might be for the better.

I actually think this might be a good thing. Perhaps Tom Howard will cease to have significant (un)creative input.
It would be a shame to see some titles go to Microsofts future game streaming service though. I will be sad when we don't really own the games we buy.

Working towards the platinum trophy in Assassin's Creed III Remastered as my ongoing quest to platinum the whole series continues.
Also found myself downloading the PS4 remaster of Final Fantasy VIII last night because of the nostalgia. Loved that game when I was a wee nipper and never actually finished it so I can redeem that failure now... hopefully... if I see it through... which knowing me I probably won't....

It was an exclamation of surprise at a $7.5 billion acquisition, not of sadness or outrage or anything.

Ah, yes. That we can agree on - too much money paid for this crappy company.

I recently fell back into a dragon age hole; just ran through origins and 2 and I’m doing a second run through Inquisition. Gotta say I love me some Flemeth.

Best character right? So sassy. Kate Mulgrew totally owned that role.
