I haven't played D2 in like 12 years but I'm so bored lately that I've watched all of this squeaky-voiced twink's videos about MF farming.

I'm not as hyped as some people seem to have been. I'm not a fan of Larian. They make good games but I feel they are over rated, like Obsidian.

I have little hope that Balders Gate 3 will play anything like the original games or feel like anything other than a Divinity game with a new skin and lore.

Anyone else getting it?

I will definately get this one! I'm bummed about the delays, if only because I doubt I'll have time to play it before the new year after the second release date, push back. But it still looks like a great game! :D

BG3 is ok. Can’t say I’d sing it’s praises, even without the early access caveat. Couldn’t really get into the Divinity series.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla has me intrigued, although I’ve found it’s “prequels” a bit of a slog. Maybe it’s the Viking angle.

I recently started a new game in Pokémon Ultra Moon. It’ll be good to play a video game where I can play and walk at the same time. I’m still trying to lose weight. :3

I just bought a Nintendo Switch a couple of weeks ago. Then I started to buy games. My first two games bought are Pokémon Shield and Let's Go Pikachu. I'm buying new games in the next days taking advantage of online sale in some stores.

I think the rumours are that it was delayed because they are having issues with it on the current generation of consoles.

I hope it will be ok as I preordered it ages ago and it looks amazing.

I like a lot to play rocket league, especially if I play with my friends then it's even more fun. We have a good tradition with my friends, every weekend no matter what we gather at one of us and we play some games and have fun. We played a lot of games like FIFA and mortal combat but our most favorite game became rocket league. For a few months now we've played only rocket league and we don't get bored. More than that I liked this game so much that I decided to do some rocket league trading to have better items and maybe to make some money on this.

I have been playing mostly Assassin's Creed for the past few months. I haven't started Valhalla. I used to play League of Legends. I'm a more casual player. I was never very good at it. Witcher 3 (PC) has probably been one of my all-time favorites. I seem to like solo games better. I wish that wasn't the case.

Pokémon Ultra moon is the game being played right now. I can’t help but notice I keep building teams that are weak to electric attacks...

Last month Brenden and I watched our boyfriend play most of Lunar 2, a nice RPG we'd never heard of, but we left before he finished it. I've been watching a really well-done Let's Play on YouTube (first video below) to finish the story. :keke:

This guy is very funny and he did all the voices and stuff. :3

Doctor Who: The Edge of Time on Oculus Quest 2 is... it's a thing that exists. I'm still getting used to VR so it's playing a bit clunky for me at the moment, but then it also lets me use a sonic screwdriver on things and walk around the TARDIS so I'm still in love with it.

Also seeing the TARDIS materialise right in front of me, full-size and like it's really actually there is one of the most satisfying things I have ever experienced in a game because yes I really am just that much of a nerd. :D

Hey, I see Skybox is available for Oculus Quest. Check it out if you want an awesome media player / virtual theatre for watching video files :awesome:

I have the original Oculus Rift, but I never use it. Once the novelty wears off, there aren’t enough games to keep me interested.

Klondike, played on the computer. My one-time favorite software was Eric's Solitaire Sampler (old MacOS). It worked well, and had some fun touches. But the negative is it tracks statistics, so you can have that "I've played this HOW MANY TiMES?" moment. This computer has Aisleriot installed, which seems to work well--and it seems like I win more often (probably because of the way stock is dealt one card at a time.)

Old fogey memory: I can remember when you had to play solitaire using real cards. I had a phase one summer as a teenager of doing so. The computer is more convenient.

Making another big push to get some more solid progress in Dark Souls right now. Progress has been slow but steady but I'm ready to finally try and polish this game off.

Unfortunately my only thing left to do (not counting DLC content) is the area I've been deliberately putting off by doing everything else first because it's dreadful and terrifying. So that's.... fun?

Giant skeletons, man... why did it have to be giant skeletons in the darkness?

Yeeeeeesssss! D'oes are good games, been ages since I've played them. Preferred the setting for Bloodborne, but combat in DS is generally better, imo. Probably just because I'm a coward, though; not having a shield scared the bejezus out of me.

OT: Day 293. Still, I play Europa Universalis IV. Mods to make it even more complicated have been added. Weeks have passed, months. Muscle wasting set in long ago. The faces of loved ones have been forgotten, their names only dimly remembered. Blind to all but the conquest of Vienna, I play on relentlessly, uncaring of the outside world. I have grown a beard.

Please help me.

Funny thing is when I first tried Dark Souls I was comedically terrible at it. Like, "couldn't even beat the first boss despite trying 15 times" terrible. Then I tried Bloodborne and... okay I still wasn't good at it but I feel like Bloodborne tripped a switch in my brain somehow and when I came back to Dark Souls I was just buzz-cutting through the thing like I'd been doing it for years.

I went from "unable to beat first boss in 15 attempts" to "defeating one of the widely-regarded hardest bosses in the game on my 2nd attempt" levels of skill. I've only got one main game boss left, then 4 DLC bosses, then the final boss. I feel I can actually pull this off and I know doing it will be the most rewarding gameplay experience of my damn life.

I think I was playing too safe before, but Bloodborne made me think more aggressively because of the speed of its combat.

Learning to parry with the shield helped. Except against enemies that can't be parried... like giant fuck off skeletons twice my height.

This is why despite having it downloaded, I have never started playing Europa Universalis IV.

Are you telling me you beat mother fucking Father Gascoigne on your second attempt? Please teach me, if so.

No no. He took me about 5 or 6 the first time. Then I got annoyed at a later point and abandoned the game. On my 2nd pass through his graveyard I took him down in 3, but did it by playing dirty.

I was referring to the boss fight against Ornstein and Smough in Dark Souls. Which is regarded as being the true 'brick wall' of the game that if you get through, you can get through anything. According to several fans I know, and according to my brother who is a ludicrous obsessive veteran of From Software games.
