What games are you playing?

I have a good TV, but it is located on another floor. I have my PS4 hooked up to it. Can't get find a PS5 in stock yet. But what I really need for my computers, both home and work, is a multiple monitor setup. I don't have the desk space for it right now. I have to rearrange a bunch of things.

Thankfully ours has a 'game mode' which doesn't do any post-processing on the input, which means it then achieves a perfectly adequate 60 Hz refresh rate.

I saw that! Unfortunately, I already own the game through Steam and paid like £20 for it.

Games always go on sale or are free shortly after I buy them. I played JPE last year at this time. I bought it and most of the DLC for 50% off on Steam. It was fun but short.

I am playing Marvel Avengers on PC. I'm disappointed I pre-ordered this at full price. I always have high hopes for superhero games, and they usually fall so flat.

Pandemic Legacy Season 2
Fascinating game. Very hard at first. Will probably take like 60-70 hours over the course of this 24-day stay at our boyfriend's.

Do you like Hades? I have heard good things. It is the style of game I would have liked years ago, but I play very different games now.

I'm liking it. It's a little repetitive beating the same bosses again and again, but each time you get a little better and you unlock more of the story.

I am loving Hades myself, playing lots of stardew valley as well. Beat Tyranny which was 300% better than I was expecting.

Once again I am addicted to GTA, I was going to give up but the new heist is easy to do solo so I can finally finish a heist without worrying about griefers or having to take newbies by the hand.

Re: What games are you playing?
I recently finished a play through of Final Fantasy Six for the SNES in spirit of listening to a vinesauce play through Vinny has been streaming.
I love the damage calculation formulas for that game but decided not to emulate them for my game. I want to program special attacks that remain useful throughout the game, and Final Fantasy games tend not to do that.

Is this the newer one? Never played it. All I know is that Pandemic's Star Wars: Battlefront II is one of the best games ever made.

Yes, it is the newer one, and it includes extra content. I never played either one.

Re: What games are you playing?
Spider-Man on PS4. With the new one out I finally decided to go back to the first one and try to finish it. I got annoyed and rage-quit the whole thing last time because of some of the collectable challenges in it annoying me beyond the bounds of reason so this time I've largely ignored them thus far and just gotten on with everything else.
Gonna have to do them eventually anyway for the sake of trophy-hunting but I'll deal with them later.

I just started Red Dead Redemption II (PC). I bought it a year or so ago on sale. I deliberately put off playing it because I am sure I am going to get addicted.

Paradox games are great. I've not got to CK yet, but Europa Universalis (Age of Imperialism) and Hearts of Iron (WWII period) are both fantastic. Such a massive time sink. That's no bad thing these days, though, given the virus and everything.
