What games are you playing?
Re: What games are you playing?
Marvel's Spider-Man with the aim of not either rage-quitting over side missions or just getting distracted and never finishing it. Because Insomniac announced the proper sequel so I'm motivated to finish this one, and it's DLC, and Miles Morales follow-up, before that one comes out.
Though the not rage-quitting is looking like a tall order at this exact moment as one extra requirement for one of the side activities, that I know I managed to do in a previous attempt at this game, is proving impossible and beyond irritating right now.

A large coffee and come back to it tomorrow sometimes helps before it gets kicked out a window

Ugh Windows wants to be restarted because of an update, last time it did that it bricked my PC

Re: What games are you playing?
Went back to Assassin's Creed 3 to try and continue my task of finishing and hopefully Platinuming every game in the series, and remembered that unfortunately I'd stopped playing it because I only have one side mission left to get 100% of the bonus requirements on before the final mission of the game, so I've got nothing to do except throw myself at that one mission over and over again until I do it and I just don't want to because I know how much of a total ball-ache it's going to be.

Re: What games are you playing?
I just finished playing Pokémon Sword today. I enjoyed it, but I enjoyed Ultra Moon a bit more. I haven’t done any of the DLC for this game yet though.
My husband enjoyed watching me play it including the camping trips I had with my party.

Started playing Crackdown 3 the other day and damn near finished it in one day. I need to get back to playing now that I brought it up. That game is addictively fun to play!

Been playing World of Warcraft a lot lately. Also been playing Halo: Infinite, Far Cry 6, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and Ghost of Tsushima.
I've got so many games in my backlog that I haven't even finished yet...
Really looking forward to 2022. Got some great games coming out like Horizon: Forbidden West and God of War: Ragnarok. Some great games coming out for the Series X too that I can't wait to get my spoiled little hands on.

Re: What games are you playing?
I actually got some time to game lately, so I tried cultist simulator aaaaand... turns out I'm not a fan of card based games
I did play Cyberpunk 2077 and that turned out to be okay. Boy was I pleased I didn't follow it's development, like, at all. So no hype train for me
I also didn't get it on release when, it looked suuuuper buggy, like, so buggy.
But I think, not expecting it to redefine gaming and having let it bake for another year, I got to experience it as it's own thing and there was alot to like. Haven't finished it yet. Need some more time off work.
I'm in the mood for some horror style gaming and so I'm considering playing some Deadspace 2 or Bioshock this weekend, for a few hours.

No we're both playing our own separate games but just discussing it constantly. He's played like 2 games and is already way better than me at it, it's infuriating.

Yeah, gotta hate those naturals. Cheaters all, I say!

You should try playing together though, it can be loads of fun.

I think at some point we probably will give it a go. But he's still learning a lot of the in-depth stuff of this game and I'm generally just crap at it altogether so we'll see.

Play allied and you can make up for eachothers shortcomings and learn from eachother.

Been playing Disco Elysium. It's not bad. I like that the game lacks combat, it's a nice change of pace. The dialogue has actually been quite funny too, leaning heavily into dark humour at times.
Before that I played the Outer Wilds. No combat in that either but some nice puzzles to solve that was a relaxing distraction after work.

Re: What games are you playing?
Been playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, Terminator: Resistance and The Last of Us Part 2. I switch games regularly depending on my mood which is probably why I have so many games left unfinished. Plus, the fact that I'm pretty OCD when it comes to gaming. I have to do everything there is to do and then I end up burning myself out on whichever particular game I'm playing because of that.

Re: What games are you playing?
I'm low key loving Disco Elysium and perhaps, shouldn't be surprised. It did get rave reviews.
But it has some great situations. I just spent 20mins, after trying to bum a cigerette off some random npc, I wound up trying to convince her, that her family was missing and to let me investigate their disappearance. Of which there is no evidence and by the time I was done gaslighting her with my crazy, she wasn't entirely sure herself. She pretty much called me a cock and my character, upon questioning this has seized upon the idea that a colourful bird might be his spirit animal and I now have a quest to read books on the subject... in order to make contact with this inspirational heraldic beast...
That's some lateral quest design right there.
I kinda get why people liked it so much.
