New, expensive, gas-powered device will allow Americans to cross lakes 50 feet in diameter.

Brenden reminded me of a not simplified recap of the Russian Revolution that I love:

Re: YouTube Find Thread
Could you recommend any interview Youtube channels please?
What I have seen on English-language Youtube: CBS 60 Minutes, Dave Rubin, and Ellen DeGeneres. First one is great, but it is available for paid subscription only, Dave Rubin is boring for me, and Ellen DeGeneres is a feminist, which I do not like.

How did I miss this last year? This is genius.
Gritty, Dark Knight versions of old shows and movies are now a trend. Apparently Will saw it and they just signed a contract a few days ago for two seasons on this show.

Me, five minutes ago: Culture in the 21st century consists of a continual regurgitation of past forms. Having lost forward momentum and a artistic sense of the future, culture today consists primarily of pastiche, availing itself to the over-availability of media and blah blah derivative blah blah neoliberalism blah...
Me, now: Fuck. Yes.
Fresh Prince was like, one of my favorite shows when I was a kid. I'm psyched.
Here's a rando YT clip of Hunter S. Thomson having a gunfight with his neighbor.

Heroquest returns? The world's premier authority on Heroquest weighs in on this development.
Think I might be approaching similar levels of neckbeardery. All the young people and their Stormcast Eternals, Age of Sigmar nonsense... Bah! Warhammer Fantasy Battle forever, and if you disagree, you are wrong.
I just want Bretonnia back.

I never really thought about the Flat Earth movement before, but this video is a great explanation of how they think, and most modern conspiracy theorists in general.

Very good conversation. I like it when hosts ask well-thought-out questions.

Oh wow, I remember watching this guy's videos a while back. Now he's interviewing Michael Sandel! Awesome!

Read one of Sandel's books, What Money Can't Buy: The Moral Limits of Markets years ago, and it was probably one of the first books that led me towards trying to incorporate some kind of left-communitarian thinking. Still a powerful influence.

Re: YouTube Find Thread
Here are some interesting videos from a guy who does various sons a Capella, but it's done in multiple parts - and he does all the parts! He as a bunch of videos on his page (https://www.youtube.com/c/JaredHalleyMusic/videos), but I grabbed three here just to give an idea of what he's capable of (and hopefully I'm doing this right):
