Belgium? I think you mean Bulgaria. :P

This means a longer event which is great!

Yeah, but it's harder to get through the semi-finals. That's your problem though, not mine.

I can accept Australia being part of Eurovision as an individual quirk, but no more- then you start stretching the definition of -Euro- to breaking point.

Also I want to point out that nobody in North America has even heard of this Eurovision thing. I have never, ever seen it mentioned outside of GTF/GFO.

I still think it's some weird, European thing that doesn't even make sense.

It's not available in our country. I think he's pulling your leg.

Do you have a Vimeo link of it instead?

I like it. I think it's actually one of the better songs I've heard on Eurovision. But it won't do well. It's not Eurovisiony enough. It's a nice pop song and can do well in general market. But as far as Eurovision goes? Nope.

^ I was hoping to post this but I knew you would beat me to it. :P

I hope this will make the voting sequence more exciting. However, it will be pretty embarrassing if they have to read out "nul points from the televoters" for any country.

The six songs that have been shortlisted for the UK's national final this Friday are currently being played on BBC Radio 2. I can't actually listen to them right now because I am at work but I can't wait to hear them later.

From the initial comments that I've read it sounds like some of them are getting positive reactions. :)

I really do like the six songs, I think my favourite would be Joe and Jake’s entry - You're Not Alone.

Yeah, I'd be happy with them. I think I like Darline the most, though I'd also be happy with Bianca's song.

I've just watched Eurovision: You Decide on BBC4 and I think the public made the right decision on Joe and Jake. The duo and Bianca stood out this evening, so I would have been happy with either. :)

I voted for Joe and Jake so I'm pleased.

Bianca had the best voice by far, but I think their song is better and l think that counts more in Eurovision. Roll on May! :awesome:

Yes!
I like the song very much. And they are cute as well which is always a bonus.

Our selection is tomorrow (technically today). I am very excited to see what kind of crap we will hear.
