Above and Beyond - "Peace of Mind"

I lost all my riches
The diamonds in the mind
It turns out that this was the best thing to ever happen to me
Errors and glitches
What a way to find
That such hurt could bring you greater peace of mind

Bring me peace of mind
Bring me peace of mind

If you’ve ever lost every part of yourself
If you’ve left your heart on a lonely avenue
It will be only a matter of time
Before your life comes through for you

Can you guys believe this band coming for Greta Van Fleets style? Such unoriginal posers.

This song was really planned out well. It's meant to sorta soundtrack a suicide. It's kinda hard to hear but it starts with static meant to express the protagonists thoughts. And after a few seconds a bang which is meant to be a gunshot. Then the song begins. Which is a very mellow kinda dream like song. Which then breaks into a sound of doom and chaos. To express the aftermath of the suicide.

Saw these guys again on Friday night at a festival in Newcastle, just a pity the set had to be cut short due to safety concerns because of issues with the barrier

Fun fact: he's the original singer of the "band" panic at the disco.
