I couldn't find an FAQ about posting youtube links so I hope I've done this right :D
I've been listening to this song a lot lately. Never grow tired of it.

It worked :D

You ever hear Leonard Cohen's last album?

Its very haunting to say the least.

A forgotten indie rock band from around the mid noughties, the album "Nothing Means Everything" they put out in 2007 has some bangers on it such as this. Think I found these on the short lived music channel 'Lava' on Sky some years later.

We were listening to the Absolute Classic Rock radio station at work today, and of all the great tunes played I think this got me foot tapping the most :)

I love the doors. A lot of people think they were out much longer then they actually were. They were only out for 5 year's. And only made 6 albums ( together, they made 2 after Morrison's death in '71 so 8 but 6 studio albums. )
There one of those bands that are instantly recognisable when you hear them. Mostly because of the use of the keyboard being a main instrument and no bassist for most of their recordings.

Earlier at work there were probably 5 radio's playing all something different.

And i was nowhere near my radio but clear as day heard Robert Plant singing " squeeze my lemon, til the juice runs down my leg" followed by moans in his beautiful falsetto voice. :awesome:

Yup, I was in that group of people who thought that :D I guess it's a by-product of the legend that is Jim Morrison.

I'm in a chilled mood so here's some Hybrid... :)

It's Woodstock season right now. :)

Richie haven's opened the concert. He ended up playing for more then 3 hour's. Which is insane. His set wasnt meant for that long but alot of bands and attendees had problems getting to the actual festival. It really wasnt planned well at all. And no one expected the size of the crowd's. Didnt help that it was held on a farm basically in the middle of no where.
The Woodstock movie shows all this pretty well.

Beth Hart is if you ask me, one off the greatest, most under-rated female rock singers. She loses herself literally while performing. This is wat makes it so raw. She always has been struggling with her addictions but she beaten it. Wish I would have been at the time she performed the video underneath this post.

Acceptance doesn't mean resignation; it means understanding that something is what it is and that there's got to be a way through it.

Awesome addition. Dont really know much music from her.

The killer's are definitely on my list of bands i want to see in concert. They dont play around here very often though.

Same. One of the first bands I really got into, Sam's Town being the second album I ever bought. Did you see any of the Glastonbury coverage? The Killers and the Pet Shop Boys? Wonderful.

One from the first album I ever bought:

I actually have to admit that You Could Have It So Much Better is only officially the first album I ever bought. The reality of the situation is that it was a fucking Peter Andre album. :gaping:

The Cure were live in concert here tonight. Kinda wish I'd made an effort to get a ticket and go see them, but other things got in the way. Ah well.
Here is one of my favorite songs by The Cure, not one of their biggest hits but it hits the spot for me and rolls back the years... ;)

I know! :( I believe The Twilight Sad were supporting, too. Friend of mine went and said it was pretty great.
