Does your boyfriend ever cry?

Unread postby Koftruecross » 7 May 2019, 15:19

When he was 18 (I know he looks younger) he would cry when he became angry and things did not go his way. But I thought,....He's so young. It's a phase. He will grow out of it.

Why would a person take a photograph of a photograph displayed on a computer screen and then upload that, rather than just upload the photograph that is clearly already saved on their computer?

I don’t understand.

Because the computer is Windows 97. The printer doesn't work any more. A new printer is incompatible. And I haven't gotten around to buying a new one yet. Give me time. Please be patient with me. . And I will get a new computer 21st century computer.
Time slips by faster when you get older. And I have a hard time letting go of old things. It's part of my illness. Good thing I got plenty of room here. And Corey doesn't mind. There's things in this house that I've had for fifty years.

I think neglecting to upgrade your computer in 22 years is stretching fair use of the phrase “I haven’t gotten around to it yet”

Also, I don’t know how to delicate tiptoe around confirming if Corey is a real person or not. You speak about him in such an odd, distant, narrative style that it’s like you’re telling a story about a character rather than a real person.

When you say Windows 97, do you mean Windows 95 OSR 2.x?

I love old computers and operating systems. So many good memories of DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Mac OS 8 etc. :3

I agree with ''I haven't gotten around it yet'' :D .

I'm just gonna talk to you about my relations to the people. I have the idea of ''either take it or leave it''. If i like someone but there are things I hate, I just say ''he's sometimes bad but in general nice, so I'll keep the friendship'' vice versa. OR maybe you shouldnt make him cry then. I dont think he'll cry if you tell what you'll tell in a positive attitude.

If you still want to change him and he's willing to do so, you may consult some professional. But my idea is that if you can take them, go with it, if not, then leave it.

it may not work for relationships but I think it works most of the time.

He gets mad and cries when I tell him that he's charged as much on my credit card that I am going to allow him to do.
I haven't mentioned his name because when I do the schizophrenia kicks in and causes me to go off on a tangent.
It is Windows 97. It has a floppy drive and a CD ROM. But I bought the computer in 1994. Paid $1500.00 for it. It was updated. I wanted wait until the technology was better. 1990's vintage computers had some severe limitations. But I am not getting rid of the old one. There's a lot of photos on there. I don't turn it on very often because it makes makes dreadful noises. It sounds like it's gonna explode. It the screen image has a funky psychedelic swirl effect at times. I aways make sure it's unplugged when I finish. When I get home I'll post a photo of it.
I find it humorous that someone would think that 22 years is a long time to wait. I've been waiting 14 years for my boyfriend to change. Or at the very least take his psychotropic medication. I'm a patient man. Rushing around stresses me out.

It's a bit crowded in this room. Lots of stuff in here. So I had to take the photo on an angle to show the tower and the monitor.

I went some years without a working television because I was sick and tired of paying for cable and then satellite for channels I didn't watch. And then they invented the Roku streaming TV. I love the streaming TV. It was worth the wait.

Any chance of taking a photo of this while it's starting up and showing "Windows 97" on the screen?

You may want to copy those photos off that computer on to a safer storage location, ideally with a cloud backup. Assuming the computer isn't networked, the easiest way to do that would probably be to carefully take out the hard drive and connect it to a modern computer using an IDE-USB interface.

I can start it up and photograph it. I just don't like to leave it on very long. It makes noises like it's going to explode sometimes. Thanks for the tip about saving the photos. im not very computer savvy.

This is the most niche trollery I’ve seen in years. You just don’t see this sort of old school, long-play trollery anymore. It’s been so long, I just went straight to crazy and didn’t even consider you were a troll.

Touché. Well played.

The fact that you responded to Marmaduke’s question about uploading an already saved image with reference to a printer proves that you’re beyond hope. Fortunately it appears you’re just a troll.
