Getting over someone

Unread postby LostGuy94 » 29 May 2019, 21:52

I have had a bit of a back and forth between someone I got to know through a mutual interest, exchanged messages and some pics etc but never actually met and this has been going on for around 3 years now but I haven't heard from him in nearly 4 months now and it keeps praying on my mind that I don't think I'm gonna hear from him again.

Anyone have any words or advice on how I should try and move on from him?

I've dated someone on the internet for like 3 years and he disappeared months at a time without talking to me only to come back and tell me we should break up. It went well until I randomly told him I feel nothing and wanted him to make me cry... He then called me a stupid bitch and that he's cutting all contact with me. I've not talked to him sense. I found his facebook and tried to talk to him again years later only to have him block me. Sometimes with internet relationships don't work out and that's ok. I moved on pretty quick on that one but I wasn't exactly close with him. All we did was cyber.

Personally I'd say cut your losses and move on. If he'd cared he'd give you an incentive to send you a message and tell you he's alright and not go ghost on you.

agreed.

be reminded theres a significant amount of people online that only want your pix.

from what you posted, it didnt sound like it was more than skin-deep. a few messages and a picture sounds like something you find on omegle. that an intimate relationship does not make.

maybe theres more to the story were missing?

It was never anything really serious, it was seen to just be a bit of fun although it seems as if it did actually mean something to me to at least some extent.

His Facebook / Messenger has been deactivated since shortly after our last chat, he said he was gonna send me a pic but naturally that hasn't happened.

I'm so confused

It's now almost 10 years since I split up with my last boyfriend, after a passionate and loving relationships of over four years. It was frustrating at times, as he was bisexual and living with his girlfriend, which limited our meetings.

It hurt a lot too start with, but it's left me with many happy memories. We are still on good terms, and our occasional meetings still end up in bed. I'm still profoundly grateful that it happened.
