Question about tinder

Unread postby Badlands17 » 14 June 2021, 13:54

Hello everyone how is everyone doing? Im in serious need for some advice: I matched a couple of days ago with this cute guy on Tinder and he seems super interested in meeting up or in going on a date but honestly I have always been really scared of actually meeting up with people from dating apps because you never know if they are being genuine or not so I find myself in this limbo in which I feel sick to my stomach and incredibly anxious every time I think about meeting him but at the same time I feel like it would help me ease this overall tension and anxiety, what do you think?

Just meet up in a public place and get to know the guy in person in public before moving further with the relationship. You can then assess how genuine he was online vs in person.

Thank you for your input, I just have terrible anxiety and ocd and they latch onto the craziest of themes, I just wish my brain could function properly

Are you on any medication? There are single medications that are usually quite effective for both OCD and anxiety. Clomipramine probably being the best (considered the gold standard for OCD treatment).
