Sometimes getting dumped isnt all that bad.

This is more just a reminder for us who are down that good things can happen.

2 fridays ago, my early stage boyfriend dumped me. When I asked why, he said he had someone else lined up who was younger than me and wanted to be monogamous with him. Sorry for asking. (My now ex is 44, I am 32, his new boy toy is 23.) It hurt, but I'm an adult and knew that we were probably going to break up eventually, it was just the way he did it.

I went to the bar after getting dumped and some acquaintances invited me to sit with them. "So why are you here alone on a friday night?" I explained the situation. One of the guys moved closer to me and showed his sympathies. We chatted for like 2 hours and he walked me home and kissed me goodnight.

We went on a few dates and I can say my new friend is more attractive, is far more stimulating with conversations, has a good career, and this comes as a surprise to me but I am really turned on that he is very well endowed. I am happier than I was 3 weeks ago. Good luck to my ex.
