This is probably bullshit, but eh, I'm open to it....

So, I went on the internet like usual, and was just browsing casually and I saw this advertisement. Normally I'm not drawn to ads, but this one was kind of interesting. There's an artist in China who says his name is Master Wang, and apparently he's a love expert. He can supposidely "draw" your perfect other. Normally I would write this off as a scam, cause I get tons of advertisements about going on dating websites or forums. Probably because my specialty happens to be in relationships, and I love delving into the mechanics of romantic relationships. But, I read up more on this Master Wang and his beliefs kind of align with my own. So I thought, oh hell why not?

So, I paid like twenty something dollars to get not just a drawing of my other half, but a colored picture of my other half. And yes, he does draw gay partners, not just straight ones. I'm just interested in what this man draws for me, because Missouri is as conservative as it gets! There's not a gay man I know of here who I'm attracted to on both a physical and mental level. I've found people who fit one or the other, but not both. So, this should be interesting. Because honestly, in my situation, finding a guy that I really do want is next to impossible. There's a lot of things I don't bring up in this forum because, quite simply, my whole situation doesn't need to be broadcasted to the world. Let me make this clear, with the situation I'm in, it is next to impossible to find what I am looking for. The only way is if I'm able to travel, and that's not happening at least not anytime soon.

I'll update this thread as soon as I get the picture....
Here's an example of the Universe trying to tell you that you need healing in an area of your life:

Someone who struggles with showing emotion. This person, in their lifetime, will constantly struggle with this, and that is because, they choose to ignore or disregard the fact that they have trouble showing emotion. Most people will ignore this issue, and will continue to fracture themselves. And this goes with pretty much any problem that happens in your life that is recurring. Don't pass up an opportunity to make you "whole" again.

Ok.....ok.....not gonna lie, I thought this guy was full of shit. I thought that maybe he was going to draw some stupid model out of an Abercrombie and Fitch magazine and call it a day. But, I dunno, this could be possible. I can see this being an actual thing.

I'll continually update this thread if this guy happens to cross my path. This'll be interesting....

A man who styles himself “Master Wang” draws a picture of Daryl Sabara, of Spy Kids fame, for $20 and you think this might actually be a legitimate forecast of your romantic destiny?

Look. You’ve got a Get Out of Jail Free Card here. Just play “it’s all an April fools joke” and we can all pretend you’re not floating this as something you actually believe.

Intrigued, I sought out my own Chinese fortune-telling portrait artist - Master Wong. For only $10 he drew me a picture of the man I’m destined to spend the rest of my life with. As it turns out, I get Antonio Banderas. So in the game of Spy Kids Future Husbands, I think we’ve both got to agree that I win.

Here in Brazil, fortune-tellers and mediums are not just these generic gypsy-imported culture you guys get from there. We have Umbanda, which is a mixture of African, Catholic and Native American religions, Candomblé, which is the African religion imported from slaves that helped give origin to Umbanda, Spiritism, enriched and transformed by one of our major seers that is recognized and frowned upon even by the harshest atheists, for how much he could indeed foresee and predict and heal, and we have a very vibrant folklore that created myths and minor gods that can wreak havoc on a regular person's life.

Due to that, there's a lot of signs on light posts, and walls and newspapers inviting people for a reading, a love potion, ritual, or one last talk with a lost relative... It's even more rampant now, with Covid-19 taking so many people away. They have all kinds of officers, tents or apartments. The colors vary. The scents of the candles... but the strategy is the same. Read your client's subtext and understand how to piece it all together to create a profile of who you're listening to. Then, identify what it is they crave for with their visit and offer it to them, no matter how uninterested in the visit itself they are--in the case, for example, of someone who's just doing it because their friend pushed them to. Everyone has a curiosity, something that would make that witch real if they could figure out a secret dear to them--and finally tell them either something that they want to hear, or something that is devastating and can be healed with a remedy you have. That way, you can milk them for some more Monopoly money before you send them away convinced that you've done anything.

So anyway, and this is real, one day I was walking to the gym in Rio (I was around 20, so this was in 2013) and I saw an actual bowl of rice and beans that could probably weigh 4kg of food only, 2kg more its actual weight, and on top of it a bunch of condiments and leaves. Next to it, there was a bottle of wine (unopened) and a pack of Dunhill cigarettes (also unopened, with the plastic wrapper around it).

Obviously, I took the pack of cigarettes and smoked it during the day instead of paying (what would then be, converted) US$ 3 for a new pack of cigarettes. Some religious person, with their B-class religion, thought that leaving food and modern cigarettes with cheap Chilean wine in the middle of an intersection would help them find the love of their lives, financial prosperity or true vengeance. In reality, they wasted money and I got a free pack-of-cigarettes.

Anyway, this is a recent story, so I was back in college in Ouro Preto (one of the oldest cities here, more than 300 years old and very Portuguese when it comes to Architecture). Amazing college town, half of the population was students. And a friend of a friend was from Umbanda and wanted to take me to a session to talk to his grandma about some stuff that I was nervous about. Guess what: she said she could also draw my future husband. But this was more recent, so she just used a pen a a notebook.

This is what it looked like:

How did you know, that is exactly the man that I am living with today. And I met him completely out of the blue, through Grindr out of all places. We're not so close in age (he's on his early 20s, I'm reaching my 30s) and we had no friends in common before we got to know each other, but we are a match on everything and it just works.

But no, that never happened and I just used an app to convert a picture. My boyfriend is from Grindr though. Maybe that's a hint you should seek what you get rather than wishing for it to happen upon a star.

I can’t place him in Spy Kids. What character was he credited as?
