Are you more accustomed to the tropical weather in Scotland?

Scotland actually has a pretty mild climate. It pretty rarely goes below freezing.

This is in the Central Lowlands of course. The Highlands are a little different, but less than 5% of the population lives there.

So Scotland isn't all blasted hills and bog-filled moors with icy winds and dejected widows wandering mournfully to the tune of constant bagpipe music?

Yeah, right. Next you’re going to tell me that English villages aren’t filled with murderous psychopaths trying to stay one step ahead of eccentric private investigators. This is exactly how conspiracy theories start.

I mean of course they are. You ever been to an English village? The only thing there is to do there is murder or talk about the village church renovation project.

It seems unnecessary to travel when I can learn everything about an entire culture by watching a 4-part mini-series. Plus, no matter how much weight I gain or much much I neglect my personal hygiene, my TV will never judge me. You can’t get that kind of unconditional love anywhere else.

I dunno it may not judge me out loud but I feel like as I enter hour 8 of my Netflix binge it's giving me at least some kind of side-eye. Like my parents don't call me a disappointment out loud but I know the thought is there.

Side-eye during the first 8 hours, or the "warm-up" period as I call it, is usually due to an unacceptable amount of viewing pauses. Do you have a full-stocked mini-fridge within arms reach of your sitting position?

Hope and heal … yeah, yeah, it’s all going to be the same. Honestly, I really hope that they’ll surpise me by getting their act together, but I think that it’ll just be the same crap and different administration. You could be optimistic and say that hey At least, thye got Dr Levine appointed as new health sec... but is that progress or just a token? Feels like pandering to me. One day in. Time wil tell.

Was I the only one who thought Amanda Gorman’s poem was just alright? Her delivery was sort of annoying, reminiscent of what you’d find in contemporary slam poetries. Jonah Hill’s delivery in 22 Jump Street was way better. Beep bop boop.

Do you really think liberals would display an overblown emotional response to something mediocre?

It’s funny how this happens with even their taste in foods, like kale or quinoa.

Quinoa's pretty good though.
Anyway, I'd recommend this article about the Jan 6th insurrection and its connection to Qanon. It says something about our culture's understanding of itself when it can look at a hot shirtless guy who wears horns and screams about alien brainwaves while standing at the Speaker's desk and walk away with "white privilege" as an explanation.

White privilege? Everyone knows it was caused by economic anxiety.
Anyway, I’ll leave you with a video of this attractive klansman:

Unironically though. It's best understood as a cult, and cults often appear in times of upheaval. Q exploded since the pandemic hit.

I'm seriously still in disbelief that so many people are STILL supporting Trump and Cruz after the past few weeks. I will tell you, the Bernie memes is a breath of fresh air after all the crap filling social media about the ridiculous things Trump was saying and claiming
