Well the least you can do is participate in our anti-Pete GFO struggle session and say for the record "Pete is a ratfucking bastard". Trust me, it's cathartic.

God help me it's 2:08am and I've been watching the debate. Why do I do these things to myself?

Me too. Haha. :P

I was about to go to sleep around 00:30 when I saw on Twitter that the debate would be starting in half an hour so was like well… I guess I’ll watch it while I have my nighttime tea until I start to feel tired but now it’s an hour in and I’m more awake than before.

It's keeping me awake I'll give it that.

I was expecting a much more hostile tone given the recent caucus and upcoming primary in a couple of days but pretty much everyone on the stage mostly seems to be in various good humour. Steyer and Biden are coming off as the most angry but I think with Biden he's just trying to come out swinging to recover from a bad Iowa finish.

Also Amy Klobuchar is someone I knew nothing about before this. She's had some good lines but my main hang-up is that she really reminds me of the aunt on my mum's side that nobody else likes.

There are a bunch of stories from former staffers about how she's a tyrannical monster who throws staplers at people's heads and shit.

She's hilarious. Imagine having all the rage and it translates into policy like a tax deferment savings plan for small business owners.

Warren gave good answers when it got to her turn but never tried to really fight her way into it at all.

Bernie gave good solid answers and conducted himself really well.

Andrew Yang could have put up a cardboard cutout of himself with "$1000 dollars a month" in a speech bubble next to it and fucked off for all the attention he got.

Biden tried to be energetic but came off awkward and shouty a lot of the time.

Klobuchar feels like what you'd get if Hillary Clinton ever bothered to tap into the unbridled rage she must always be feeling at every moment of public existence.

Pete noticeably fucked up a couple of big times there and got fucking pounced on as a result.

Tom Steyer seemed very angry for someone who spent almost all of his time praising everyone else who was there.

She always struck me as a smarmy bitch, both in debates and in interviews. There's just something strangely...off...about her facial expressions. They get really weird and awkward, like she grew up on another planet and learned human body language from a book that didn't do a very good job of explaining it. I don't see how anyone likes her.

That reminds me of the stories about my old art teacher in secondary school, though those were perhaps a little worse. Like that he once threw a chair at a student, punched a hole through the classroom door, and posed nude in front of early teens. :P

Reminds me of nuns during my time of Catholic education. All I know is if there is a god and I have to face him for all the sins of my pass, I'd have a nun standing in front of me for my defense. They don't play fair nor nice when it comes down to it. Don't be fooled by all that quiet and meek shit.
