I am so God damn sick and tired of the corporate corruption.

Unfortunately from what I’ve seen in American politics, it’s silver or lead. If things keep going the way they have, lead could become literal rather than simply getting fired or be targeted with an often fabricated scandal.

How long do was as a nation of people sleepwalk into normalizing disgusting forms of Hate! How long do we wait before multiple "conservative (sic)" states refuse to add the words "gender preference" to the anti-discrimination laws? How long do we wait and DO NOTHING to accommodate hate??

I've neglected paying attention, is Biden now a shoe horn for the presidential election?

What a depressing choice that would be, Biden or Trump.

Sounds like our last election.

Yeah, basically all the other candidates except Bernie dropped out and endorsed Biden. Even Andrew Yang and Tulsi Gabbard (the latter of which notoriously resigned as co-chair of the Democratic National Committee in 2016 because of how they were treating Bernie)! Which is crazy. I note that now Yang is a CNN contributor, so he seems to have gotten a kind of quid pro quo from it. I haven't the slightest what Tulsi has gotten; Hillary was really cruel to her over the last few months, and the establishment still hates her, so I really don't understand why she'd get on the establishment bandwagon.

Biden is ahead. From what I hear, it's not impossible that Sanders might win the nomination, but, at this point, the likelihood is that it will be Biden.

And yes, this is depressing. And this does sound like the last election. And I suspect, like last election, it's very likely that Trump will win. Obviously, COVID-19 and the economy crashing might help Democrats. But I'm almost thinking it would be in spite of Biden, not because of Biden. Biden, unlike Sanders, is not showing a voice of real leadership during this time. And I think people might look at Biden, and assume his idea of recovery might be lots of corporate welfare, and scraps at most for normal, everyday people who are hurting. So I think a lot of voters will just decide not to bother.

It's astounding to me that the Democrats weren't able to come up with a better plan than Biden... But then, Biden is probably good enough for the #1 job the Democratic Party cares about at the highest level: keeping Sanders (and any other progressive) away from the presidency. Losing to Trump is fine, because they are in entitled positions and will be able to weather 4 more years of Trump just fine.

I was really astounded--and disappointed--that she endorsed Biden. And I also can't imagine what she'll get--past maybe empty promises. The establishment hates her too much to give her anything meaningful.
