Polish Police in action :-)

Unread postby Gay-paul » 3 January 2019, 03:39

Do those cops do the right thing by resorting to using their guns?

As you know I'm from Poland in my country people often complain about our police that they did not intervene if someone broke the law that they should be like the coops from USA or Russia use guns more often but when they did they are an outcry about police brutality :-)

What do you think about this coops?

More importantly, why do you think a smiley :-) is appropriate for this topic?

Because it’s about somone being shot (dead?) and whether it’s justified or unjustified.

Because in doing so it shows a lack of appropriate response which reflects negatively upon you not anyone else.

The psychologist told me the same thing that I am a good man, but I have no reflection on the feelings of others, that it's supposed to be my Asperger Syndrome :-(

Asperger’s Syndrome is not an excuse, it’s a diagnosis.

Knowing you have a different neurology, you should try to be more aware of what you’re saying and doing and mitigate potential difficulties — which is easy to do in static text online, as opposed to, say, in-person interactions.

You do not need to have an natural understanding of others’ emotions to realise when smilies are inappropriate.

I think from what is visible, they went too far, although I don't know, what the guy might have done prior to the filming already. Our cops likely might have shot him in the leg to prevent him from running away, if he had been coming at them in this way. More likely, they would have called for backup and chased him down with a few more squad cars or by foot, using dogs.

I know it's a tough thing on social skills and empathy, if one happens to be Aspergers. It takes years and years of the study of people's behaviours to learn how to act and respond in proper human terms. It can be learnt. Every Asperger is different. The talents and weak spots balance can be very different.

I legit thought it was a topic about hot, shirtless Polish policemen thanks to that smiley. Funny how a smiley face changed the whole reception.
