From my understanding it’s how permissive you are with how people live their lives. Libertarian is the ‘more’ permissive side.

I could be wrong though.
Why are you?

In simple words, Authoritarians want to force rules on people and Libertarians to want people to have a choice.
For example, even if I'm a libertarian in most of the cases I'm authoritarian in a vaccination case. I want the government to force people to vaccinate their children. But I'm still for the free market or free speech and choice in most situations.

I tend to think, that most people are spattered across the spectrum on all manner of issues.

Hence why I find it ridiculous that people ascribe to one party, or philosophy.

I've heard ardently self professed liberals, speak of pretty strict conservative ideas, with enthusiasm and support, yet fail to recognise their idea Is quite conservative, because they have always identified as liberal.

And the same going the other way too.

Well like if you're authoritarian don't you just tell them what to do?

It's more like if some rules should be forced and what rules really so it is open to discussion.

And the second these twinks (or anyone else for that matter) are no longer of any immediate gratification or worth to you, you throw them under the bus and laugh as the bus crushes them. :awesome:

Here I thought it was when you called rival politicians drug dealers so you could get away with extrajudicial killings.

Or brought back a military dictatorship from 30 years ago.

Or put gays into Chechen concentration camps.

I don't mind gay people. but yes, death penalty for drug dealers, rapists, murders, ect. and also bring back eugenics.
