You just described all of human history. "The problem with communism". Trading meaningless, dumb generalizations is the worst and most common form of political discussion.

Correlation does not imply causation!

Sorry. I just thought I’d chime like a redditor pretending to have something deep and meaningful to say.

Ramzus: I can admit that I'm horny just about 24/7
homomorphism: I used to not think your name was deshay and that Erick was just being racist
Hunter: sometimes I think I was literally born to be a pornstar

Capitalism is a bit more self-correcting as terrible choices can become expensive and avoided, but communism always ends up putting all the power over even minute details in the control of a few individuals that are divorced from the issue. I don't see communism becoming viable until we have strong-AI and robotic workers running everything. Any communist society doesn't even begin to function until all of its members have largely the same morals and culture so they are self-governing, and any diversity is abhorred and forcefully rejected.

Also our prime minister may be an idiot but at least he can climb stairs without slight breezes knocking him over.

The problem with capitalism is that most people are stuck in jobs that they hate, and in which there's little incentive to do a good job. Communism is a bit more self-correcting, as terrible choices can be recognised as socially harmful and avoided, but capitalism always ends up putting all the power over every minute of a person's working life into the hands of a few individuals who control the means of production. I don't see capitalism becoming viable until we have a means of producing free energy and access to other habitable planets. Any capitalist society doesn't even begin to function until all its members are reduced to atomised individuals so the market can allocate resources without distortions, and every person alienated from their own human potential.

Also, our Procurement Councils may be slightly less efficient, but at least they can direct production without throwing people into poverty.
